Looks great, I always like these gotta go fast flippers. Kinda surprised it can OOTA HS since they would seem to outrange the length of the wedge. Does the high-mounted DDT just help it flip better, or does putting it in the snapper setup cause havok issues?

Yes, but I feel it's tedious and fustrating when I try to make bots with a snapper or make crazy stacks like you did. If I'm building in stock these days, I'm building bots with simple, static setups (efficiency may vary).

Yes, but I feel it's tedious and fustrating when I try to make bots with a snapper or make crazy stacks like you did. If I'm building in stock these days, I'm building bots with simple, static setups (efficiency may vary).

I feel like if people still played stock RA2 after RA3 came out, there would be sort of a reverse trend toward simpler designs. Stock is already heading that way, it just needs more time. We exploited every glitch until we finally found one that was too powerful, now there's sort of a general backlash over how much stock building relies on complex glitches, and tournaments like Noob Wars where you can just enter something silly are more popular.

Anyway, cool bot there, love the 4WD flipper design. Considering that if you don't get your opponent OOTA in the first 10 seconds you're probably screwed, I think you could have gotten by without the caster armor and used a bigger chassis instead so you didn't have to do so much stacking. Also, I find that bots with baseplate-mounted drive are generally more stable and easy to control.

i find stock the easiest to make a bot that i'm not pissed off with ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This is a robot that I've been working on for a really long time you guys, it took a lot of effort to place everything on the absolutely tiny triangular 2x1 chassis that I used. It has redbird drive, 2 nifties and a pink. Please clap.

For the record, I'd just like to reiterate that I spent the past 5 years of my life stacking and exostacking every individual part on this robot, and definitely did not use the newly released (as in, released a few hours before this post) and easy to use sergepatcher to build this. No sir.

On a serious note, with sergepatcher it's virtually impossible to keep track of what's built legitimately and what isn't. If someone wants to go ahead and re-build all the robots in ASAI with sergepatcher, that's fine with me. I'm busy with Retooled. Also, reminder that you're still not allowed to intersect spinning parts or stack components on the baseplate under standard realism rules.

edit: it seems that you can't intersect the maxsphere either.

Brilliant. You should try making an "RA3 Simulator" bot like that one streamer did, where it was just a vertical stack of a car steering unit, battery, Z-Tek, and a saw blade.

I feel like this is a generic build, but I can't think of any bots that have 4 RADs and HPZ drive off the top of my head.
RADs also have AGOD up the ass, but everything AGOD'ed evenly, so I don't care.
