If you're making a clamp here, then you'll want your "Weapon" DDT's to start in the downward position. Once you approach the opponent, then you fire them, and they retract again to hold the opponent. You'll definitely need a bigger clamping area, though, I can't imagine it'll actually hold onto very much.

What NFX said, and weaponry, it needs some.
Although, i'd say, that a FoF style clamp in stock is a flawed idea, as you're not really gonna have enough flipping power, unless you were to make the flipper rupt perhaps.
