A way that you can self right is get rid of the baseplate anchor and replace it with a blue snapper then add the stuff you had on the old robot as well as self righting it boosts the weapon speed.

>implying he can selfright with a bursted motor and 80kg or so on the selfrighter

No. What you need is to selfright with the spinner. No need to waste weight on three bursts just for self righting purposes.

Axe blades are also bad for spinners in general, mostly because they have normals (they only do damage with the axe blade). They only really work for rammers/pokers in Stock. Use iron spikes.

Also that is not irl... there are no weapon supports, the disc is floating in space. But no one builds IRL in stock, really.

Thanks for the feedback, so I've added iron spikes, added a smaller disc it stop them hitting the ground and added wedge to have it so that it counterbalances the robot.

So I just tipped the original Disruptor into a Heavyweight (402.8) and here was the result.

Seems better, but show us insides.

How did you make your wedge ? Round extenders are in general much better than angled extenders. At least in stock.

Also you may want to change your general design so it can't get stuck on it's sides, or at least that the VS hits the ground and self-rights (or attempts to) if it does.

So I used the angled extenders to create the wedge, though my question would be how I would be able to change the design so it wouldn't get stuck? But thanks for the feedback so far, really do appreciate it!

I'd try removing the selfrighters and making your chassis more pointed towards the front, should help the vs hit the ground to self right you, plus weight savings. I'd totally put your wedge on a round extender attached to a snapper, too.
But don't take my word as gospel I am terrible at stock :P

Ok, so I've redesigned the chassis by making it more compact and turning the front end of the chassis into it's own wedge. I have also moved the wheels to the center, giving it a better turning circle and so it drives better and I've added the extender so that it will tip it onto it's side, so I can self right. Though I do need to give it slightly more weight has it's only at 387.9, so I'll be adding so razors or a wedge to the front similar to the last one.

You still don't need the self-righting mechanisms. They're too heavy and offer nothing to the bot. Just make the weapon larger and slope the chassis in such a way that the weapon still hits the ground when flipped over.
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)

Ok thanks for further explaining it, it's really helped. So I've designed the new chassis and this is what it looks like

So the VS now touches the ground and will flick the bot back on it's wheels, but I can still fit another 10 or so kg in, so if you have any recommendations feel free to tell me

Thank you to everyones who's been giving feedback on my designs, it means a lot  :claping

Next step is to make the chassis smaller. Those front corners are begging to be hit and the back corners do nothing. I also believe you only need one black battery.
With the added wait add more weapons on the disc.
Better than GK since 2009.

I can definitely remove the front corners, but the width is so the vs can touch the floor and right itself and the back is angled so that the wheels can touch ramps etc.

Definitely showing huge improvement already.  Now change the chassis to something like what squirrel monkey suggested, and make the wedge longer. It's not sticking out far enough to actually get under bots right now.
im just waiting for meganerdbomb to come along and kick things into gear.

Ok, so again I've changed the chassis design to be more compact, but I have reduced the vs size due to it toppling, though one issue is that the weight is now rather light at only 336.5. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to say  oh and the wedge at the front is longer

Probably will need more weaponry or armor if it's ever in an AI v AI match.

If you redesign the chassis to be more compact, you can place a black battery in the middle. If the wedge and it's extender get in the way, adjust the angle of the wedge until it's far away from the empty area.

You're VERY underweight there, especially when you remove that ballast. You shouldn't use the blue snapper for wedges.
I made a MW VS a little while back, maybe you can look at what i did and take some inspiration.

Your empty space management is good but could be better still, and the chassis wedge is too steep. Despite all that, the bot isn't that bad, and I think it could be great with a few tweaks.

if I were you, I would also take a look at the other mods like ironforge and see the differences in building styles in the showcases between them and stock. You strike me as a guy who might like a more realistic approach to building, which the stock 'meta' doesn't foster but DSL and ironforge do.

Hey he's learning stock pretty good. Let him get better at that first. All you need to do now is Get rid of the ballast, make the wedge better by using the 140 cm square extender, and possibly adding a second wedge, and use extenders to put more iron spikes on your disk.
im just waiting for meganerdbomb to come along and kick things into gear.
