Anyway, I can assure you I did try to stack the batteries, but it just didn't seem to work. I can stack pinks, but not the other two to any particular effect.
Once you get the hang of stacking, it will be easy as pie.

180 days? Damn, I must update this more often!   :laughing

Anyway, here I have the working prototype for my BTTB3 entry-

Spawn of Drumaphobia, a drumbot. This one's only my first stock drum, so if it's alright, could I have some tips on how to improve it?

Alright, here it is-

I moved the drums so that the internals are visible.

And here's a side view, to show how much the drum sticks out. Problem is however, is that I don't want the motors exposed- If I move it any further forward with the current ramplate configuration, the motors are exposed. If I adjust the ramplates, the wedges lose effectiveness.

If you can, get the servos on some snapper II's to save a bit of weight, you could probably get away with only one black (although i'm a bit uncertain about powering bot's in stock, so you may want that confirmed or denyed by some-one more experienced).
With the saved weight, you could try and put some flanking protection on there because it looks quite vulnerable to being flanked.

Oh, and I love the look of stock drumbots  :approve:

Are you sure about SnapperIIs? They always wobble and strike the ground whenever I put spinners on them.

Hmm, maybe it's just the way you attach the spin motors.
Although i've never even bothered to make a VS in stock, snapper II's worked fine on my HS absolution.

about the blue snappers, just use the attachment point where the main arm is on the top and not the side when you put it on the baseplate. put the weapon motors on the main arm.

about the the bot, you should make the weapons stick out more.

I think the best way to think about it is to not have the SnapperII being able to rotate in the same axis as your weapons are spinning. You've got a bot that spins vertically, so you'll want the SnapperII to rotate horizontally.

Right, I've looked at the comments, and since then, I've gutted the original version to the rolling chassis, and completely rebuilt the weapon system. Built by some British Idiot with a bad hand, here is-

Spawn of Drumaphobia Mark 2, in its unpainted state. I redesigned the weapons to stick out of the body more, and now has better weight distribution, so it doesn't wobble nearly as much as it used to, and it's much better at shredding armour and tearing off loose components. I'll paint it and send it off to GK tommorow. Any comments before I send it?

if you really wanted to the whole setup could be done a lot more efficient :P

Blue Snappers could really be your friend here rather then wasteful servos, you could even load your whole drive, weapons and wedge snappers and halve your chassis size :P

*realizes how much I love stock again*

Stability.

Also, move the motor a bit to the rear and angle the razors about 2 notches outwards. You wouldn't want your drums to be knocked off in a single hit. :P

@Vert - Just because it looks like Drumblebee doesn't mean it's a clone. Its setup is different. It's like saying Ultimatum is an AC clone because they have exactly the same components.

Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
