How did he get the drive like that, I wonder?

No- I think Axle Loading is when the drive is all in a line. I was wondering how he got it outside the chassis without any spindly extender work.

It's a snapper setup I believe.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

Ah, OK then. Maybe I'll ask Scrap for an inside shot sometime.

But until then, I'll fix up Baptism of Fire, and maybe show it under Nary's suggested name. Whilst you wait for that however, I'll show a design which I've been meaning to show for a while, but never got round to it-

Hellfire, a Popup/Pusher hybrid. What it lacks in skin (any ideas?), it more than makes up for in sheer power, with a razor rack powered by two DDTs, capable of taking out almost any opponent from underneath in either one or two hits.

It also utilises a wide scoop system made of ramplates and its wedges to push opponents around, before guiding them onto its top panel, where the razors await. Insides below-

It can also self-right, and its armour is DSA.

Mainly so I could fit everything inside, and give it a cool appearance. Anything else?

If the wedges were on DDT's instead of Snapper2's, then they would probably be better. It could probably use something to help it self-right, too.

I do like the FS, though. If you shrink the chassis a little bit, I think you could put the outer RADs on a baseplate anchor, possibly via a 20cm, and that would make the wedges better. I think you might want to look at the SnapperII now, it lets you get some extremely compact setups to save more weight for weapons.

The only problem is though, that I don't have the Snapper II (the blue burst motor) in my game.

Right, where do I get it from? Is it a legal component?

It's an AI Component, there's a download for them in the top somewhere. Once you get it, you should really learn to use it for things like extender setups. Sage has a Tutorial video on Snapper Loading somewhere.

Yeah Jonzu's right, that's a bit more empty space than you really need.

Not bad though.

Ah, timing. The improved Baptism of Fire is ready-

I've also changed the name to Trial of Fire, as you can see in the top corner. I modified the front weapon system so that the side grinders are mounted seperately to the wedge, so now it's a lot more stable. I've also added protection to the motors in the form of those extenders, and laid it out somewhat more efficiently.

Nice. I'm just wondering if those side RADs could be angled outwards more, they seem to be preventing the ones at the back from getting into play too much.

Trial of Fire looks incredible. Hows it preform anyway?

Glad you like it! It performs particularly well on Popups, Rammers and VSes, being able to grab hold of any exposed bits, pull them in, and then grind them to pieces with the razor discs. So yes, quite well   :approve:

I tried that, but due to the game's physics, I couldn't do so. I might try again at some point, once I've properly saved the file.
