Hello there new guy. I modded your first post for ease of viewing. You may want to have at look at this thread : https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php/topic,5019.0.html

And follow the rules, of course.

And "very good bot" Well, you're probably going to change your definition of "very good bot" soon.

See the link that Reier gave to you. It's very useful.

Now for Sparkey... If I was you I would REDUCE the sh**posting out of Playground if you want to stay on these forums.

Whatchoo talkin' bout, Sparkey? =P

Anyway, welcome to the boards. =) It's fairly decent for a first bot, but since you're here, I'm guessing you'd like some advice on how to improve it. To get a better idea about how it's built, we generally like a shot of the insides of the robot, and what the armour is, neither of which we can tell from just an outside shot. For the most part, you want to use all the weight you have available to you. 399.0kg is the limit for a Middleweight, so you've still got 14kg to play with. That's enough for another two razors somewhere, so you could double your weaponry.

Also, a very simple but very useful trick is the Double Strength Aluminium glitch. All you have to do is not click the Armour tab, and you get armour by default which is the same weight as aluminium, but stronger than steel. This is the same reason why some of the Stock AI bots, such as EMERGENCY are quite difficult to kill, because all their armours have twice the strength than those in the Bot Lab.

Hopefully this advice helps, just some simple things to start with. Do stick around, though, there's plenty of scope for you building some killer machines in the future. Main this is to enjoy your time here, though, and have some fun.

look at some of the bots in starcore 3 or 4 (4 is in virus bomb's stock showcase somewhere) before you call your bot "good"

at least test against something other than stock ai
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Have to admit, looks cool. I would say this is what you would cal an IRL(InRealLife) bot. This means that it is a bot that could be built in real life. IRL bots arn't always the most effective, as though they are usually built for looks. Building IRL bots is not bad by any means. There are some very good IRl builders are the forum. This bot isn't great now, but don't worry, this takes time and this bot will be good soon enough.

And "very good bot" Well, you're probably going to change your definition of "very good bot" soon.

Be nice nar.

Nice display of hypocrisy right there, Garvin "the Great".

Besides, he has posted ONE bot. Don't bother him with IRL or DSL realistic so soon, just let him choose when he will have improved his building

Looks ok for an IRL bot. Would maybe want to put more razors on the front and on top. Always use razors cos they're the lightest and work the best.
Care for a shot of the insides?

Somewhat to add... minimize your chassis around your components, that leaves you more weight to put armor and weapons. And the most effective weapons are razors, maces, and iron spikes

Looks awesome. Love the anti-hammer spikes. Yeah, people will pressure you into efficiency but always build what you want to build. It's worked for me.
