I like how eager you are to learn. However, I would really work on improving building skills first. While your bot isn't the worst first bot I've ever seen, some things really need to change. Your biggest priorities are to make the bot invertible (able to drive upside-down) and to shrink the chassis size. Making the bot invertible would eliminate the need for a self-righting mechanism, or a srimech, leaving weight for more weapons. Shrinking the size of the chassis would leave more weight leftover for more weapons. As for your weapon choice, you're doing it right; maces are excellent weapons in Stock, alongside razor tips, iron spikes, and bear claws*.

If you really want to learn, then check out the showcases of other, more experienced members. Two really good Stock showcases that you could potentially learn a lot from are the showcases of Sage and Mr.AwesumSauce as well as Mechadino. You could also look at some building tutorials, the most famous being the one from the GTM admin Clickbeetle, which is found here.

Other than that, welcome to Gametechmods! Stay for the ride, do something cool, don't be "that guy", and you will gain the respect of your peers.

-More weapons.
-That burst isn't enough to selfright your bot, try a stronger one (aka heavier one)
-Ramplates are not of much use here.
-Raise that baseplate anchor and save 4 kg for something else.
-Build to MW weight limit, aka 400 kg.

It really isn't bad for a first robot. First thing I'd do is get rid of the srimech entirely (Your bot's invertible already, you can see the wheels poking out of the chassis) and use the weight used on the Snapper to get some more weapons.

Also, I'd read this if you haven't already:

Let him learn to build first before he chooses his stance on IRL/DSL-S.

SO...
You might want to invest in a tribar instead of a disk for a design like this.
Putting ramplates on the SIDE of your bot generally is a waste of weight. At the most you need 1 plow at the front.
Internal Z-teks are generally a waste of weight, especially when you could just put them on baseplate anchors.
A srimech is also a waste of weight (despite what naryar says about getting a heavier burst) when you could just make the bot invertible.
You should switch the black battery out for a nifty battery.

You could try setting up some armor and the weapon is you used snapper loading: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=4512.0 .

Good wheel choice. There are lighter wheels such as shiny hub wheels (which you could switch to if they provide invertibility), but grannys are almost ensured invertibility on this.
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

Definitely replace the lawnmower blade. I would use a tri-bar.

You should change the wheels back to Slipperbottoms. Those, Shiny Hubs, and Rubber Wheels are really the only ones that should be used.

Most importantly, make it as close to the weight limit as possible. You can make changes that require more weight (such as using HP Z-Teks for the drive motors instead of using regular ones) and still have the bot be a middleweight. So you can add almost 70 more kgs of components without it becoming a heavyweight.

Lightweights: 248.9
Middleweights: 398.9
Heavyweights: 800.0

For a beginner, it's a pretty good bot. I see you've mostly gotten space management down.

I know that you're trying to improve, but you actually worsened the bot. Here are some ways you could improve the bot:

  • You have far too many batteries. All spin motors (motors with a spinning axle) use the same amount of power, in spite of what the description says. A pink (small battery pack) will fully power exactly one spin motor for three minutes, a Nifty will power four spin motors, and a Supervolt will power eight.
  • The drive was worsened. All wheels have 1000 hit points, so the lighter wheels are better than the larger ones. Use the shiny hub wheels with the high-power Z-teks. If you really need to, use Grannies (slipperbottoms).
  • Lawnmower blades aren't very good weapons. Use maces/iron spikes/razor tips on tribars. All weapons have 1000 hit points, except for razor tips, which have a measly 500.
  • Use multiple Z-tek weapon motors with the aforementioned weapon setup (Zteks with tribars with weapons). Also, mount the Z-teks on 90-degree baseplate anchors, with the axles pointing upwards.
  • Try to minimize chassis space.

Most importantly: read the tutorials and lurk in the showcases. Lurking is the act of studying the showcases of experienced builders, while not posting in the showcases. Trust me, this is a good idea, and it will help you become a better builder.

Also, what is the armor?

Thats pretty good for a first bot  :claping, however, from what i can see you can probably lower the chassis a tad more, and mount the hp z-tek directly from a 90 Base plate anchor to save weight. Most importantly though, get rid of the lawnmower blade (its horrible for a weapon) and replace it with a tri-bar with razor tips(or iron spikes or maces) on the end.

Much better. However, there are still some glaring issues (important terms in bold):

  • The armor is Steel. Steel armor is horrendous in Stock, as it is both heavier and weaker than Double-Strength Aluminum, or DSA. DSA is one of the easiest glitches to perform in RA2; all you have to do is completely skip the armor tab after making the chassis. However, since you already selected an armor, the only way to get DSA is to remake the chassis. You know you have DSA armor if you paint the whole chassis black and it doesn't gleam upon rotating it.
  • You used the wrong attachment point for the tribars. Attachment points are the small green cylinders that indicate where the selected component will be attached. To select a different attachment point, simply click on the one that you desire. In this case, you want the one that makes the arms of the tribar point downwards.
  • Attach a single 20cm extender to the tribar, then add two maces to each extender. If you need to, rotate the extenders. You have to hold down the shift key and moving the mouse left or right. Each interval in which the component is 10 degrees, so to rotate it 90 degrees, you need to rotate it 9 of these intervals in the desired direction.

Keep up the good work, and stay good.

I love how you don't leave a giant amount of empty space in your bot. That's a common mistake for beginners.

Definitely use the DSA glitch rnifnuf mentioned. It will give you more weight to use, and strengthen your bot.

Don't point the extenders down like that. Use the attachment points on the ends of the extenders so the weapons reach out more. You'll also be able to put more weapons on the extenders. If you're only going to have one weapon on each end of the tri-bar, you probably shouldn't use extenders at all. It will waste weight.

You might want to consider using just one weapon motor with more weapons on it.

It's a major improvement from the last one, though.

Better. Less empty space, now.
