To sum up, the leniency we have is a good thing for reasons I already explained. If you want us to become more strict, we can do that as well. I really think there needs to be a crack down. With all this trolling and attention seeking there needs to be a huge crack down. I'm personally getting tired of seeing crap in almost every thread I go to. Really when some one (or than one) start picking on another user. Yes this or that don't help the community (eg other forms that others made other games) but that happens. Its the way I see others posting in them and treating the thread makers like crap! The amount of trolling and bashing is out of control. So yes I want there to be rules and then followed. Either you people start fixing the problem or we will. I really highly doubt some would fix there act on there own here. The mods Joe, Click, Kill (The ones off the top of my head and trust) need to crack down hard for some to learn. I know there busy enough already but either the mods crack down or I really doubt people here will clear up the act.
I couldn't agree with you more, Kill. Some of the off-topic has gotten way out of hand.Quote from: JoeBlo on January 07, 2011, 01:55:02 AMthere is enough here to keep things aliveBBEANS AI123 AISkAI HighRealism AIBacklash are examples of recent mods that are getting people into playing...*CoughRA2INBOWCough*

Quote from: frezal on January 07, 2011, 02:22:07 AMBuilding bots has gone from simple designs with a heavy focus on a cool paint job to seeing how many spikes can be shoved onto a bot. Oh well.Agreed 100%. I try and build in the "old style", as I was around back in those days, only for a brief period of time, though.Whenever I build in stock, I don't just snapper tons of tris and irons onto a chassis, as it:A) looks uglyB) has no real thought to it. You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

Also, it's gotta be one of the best looking bots Ive built. calling it ugly is ignorant and noobish.

Yeah... if the forum loses all it's active intelligent n00b whackers, then we will see stupid posts everywhere.
I love those maces! If I ever get RA2 installed again (which will probably happen whenever I get around to buying a new harddrive), I should actually read some tutorials on how to edit parts like that.
I don't know if there was ever a proper tutorial posted on changing the colour of stuff in the GMF.

It's these people (if any) that are the ones who should be on the receiving end of any punishment.

And as for the "Noob whackers" if they don't follow rules and keep breaking them then ban.
