2.0 Gold is out that fixes a few bugs and is more secure, but if I update the forum WILL change like it did when I updated to 2.0 RC3.
You guys tell me what you think. Right now you CAN NOT block PM's from unwanted members, the poll is messed up if you need more than 5 questions, and other little bugs we wont get into, so you guys tell me what you think.......GO VOTE!

No posts will be lost (I hope) and I will be able to make most of the modifications work again.

Provided it's been thoroughly tested and we can be absolutely sure that it'll work, I don't see why not.

If you can make it look this pretty again and we won't lose posts I'm all for it. You should be able to save a backup version incase anything happens.

Im fine with it if the transition is smooth enough, the SMF switch butchered a lot of existing topics..

I voted no. The current server seems stable, and the update is only out for 3 weeks now, "little fixes" are still bound to happen.

I'd say wait a month or two and then see if the update can be done smoothly.

As long as it doesn't mess up all the quotes and is thoroughly tested for bugs and backward compatibility, I don't see why not.
