Gametechmods.com is under new management as of right now.

Trovaner said he would take over and maintain the forum as it has come time for me to retire.

Here's the deal .....

I need to change my life, I have played long enough.

I divorced 14 years ago and have not been serious since ..... nor have I had many women since (had some wild ones).

I have had a few, but would not get serious with them, but have been talking to a girl I have known for several years and she is very pretty, and for some weird reason she likes me.

So, I have decided to straighten my act up and go after her!

Anybody here ever hear about Murphy's Law?

Well we were talking about dating 6 freaking weeks ago and I had to go to work on a long job. (she is VERY pretty and probably has somebody else by now, and I have other problems, so ....)

I caught that flu that killed a lot of people and I was damn near one of them.

Well anyway, my eyes were going bad and I felt like sh** all the time and it got to where my eyes would blurr even with reading glasses on.

I have not been to a doctor since 1998

I went to see a doctor!

He took my blood pressure and started stuttering!

He said it was super high and I was way up in stroke range.

After an EKG, blood tests and all that, he decided that pills would fix me.

They helped my blood pressure, but I have to reach down to make sure the little guy is still there .... Doc said it will get better in time.

I started exercising and realized I am in pitiful shape, so I spend my spare time exercising now.

Some of you know I am old ..... none of you know how old.

Next month (March) I will be 55 ..... too damn old to be playing a 10 year old kids game.

I work in the oilfield and make real good money, so I can afford to pay the bills to keep this going, and will if I need to.

I own a machine shop, 2 houses and 2 commercial buildings that I really need to take care of as I have neglected them too.

I already have all the big boys toys I need ..... boats, Rhino, 4x4 trucks, jeeps, guns and fishing tackle .... NO WOMAN ..... I need to fix that!

I have enjoyed having this place and really enjoyed the game for years, but it is time for me to concentrate on other things.

I am not leaving completely , because the force of habit won't let me .... just not gonna run it anymore.

You guys help Trov if he needs help so you can keep your forum going ........ see you around, and I will still run BOTM for a while.

I saw this thread in the side of the main page and half didn't take it seriously and half did, 'twould explain why Trov's back (if he ever 'left' that is) but I thought this was a play on the Disney/Google joke (my chrome crashed before I actually read this) and then I looked at this thread.

I'm only a middleweight here and I haven't even known you for a full year yet, but this forum is one of the best I've seen and I don't think I'll go from it for a while, and you created it.

On another note ...... in Dec I weighed 285# ........ I am now below 250# and have a rope holding my pants up and every piece of meat on my body aches ..... except one, but he is getting better.

Like I said, I am not leaving right now, just turning it over to Trov.

I never left; I just didn't see the need to post. Even during the slow periods, I visited the forums at least once a day.

As kill said; The Acamsthian era has declined, I welcome the new Trovanic Era (That sounds really awesome)
