In an attempt to promote a healthier community, the rules regarding bumps have been revised to allow "thank you" posts in inactive topics as long as it isn't meant as a form of spam.
Bumping - Although, there is no predefined length of time that constitutes a bump, the general rule of thumb is that the longer the thread has sat dormant, the less likely that you should be posting in it (unless of course you are adding something important, legitimately saying thank you, or doing something that was asked for by the original post).
