My point exactly- they often just sound completely robotic and disinterested in what's happening. At the very least, I could provide running commentary on what's happening with each competitor instead of bored audience interaction and stating the bleeding obvious.

UK robot fights are more showy and theatrical because it takes a different approach to the sport than US events. In the US its all about winning while in the UK its about the fun of it, hence the multi robot fights and house bots.

N00b question: Is that drum powered by a brushless motor? And how much has it cost to build so far?
