I must say I am absolutely gutted to come so close yet again and just miss out on the title, and this year have days worth of repairs to do. To make matter's even harsher, I broke NST's spinner on the hit that knocked out our link.

Drumroll got 11 points out of a possible 12 and ended up coming eighth overall.

Good news: voting for the awards for the UK FW Champs 2012 is up. The bad news? You have to be a FRA member to vote. That narrows it down to a handful of people here then. Me included.

Here's a template you can use if you want to say who you would have voted for if you don't have FRA membership.

I would but my parents are in New York, so I can't get there...
Maybe if G.K. decides to go.
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

Re: Roaming Robots - Guildford - 24th June 2012
« Reply #238 on: May 12, 2012, 05:29:26 PM »
Update to this thread, and it's even better because I can moderate it now :P

Anyways, Guildford in a few weeks time. There's also Edinburgh a week before that, but due to the fact that it isn't a 'full' event and the fact that a lot of people can't go, I'm skipping it. FYI, you can now view all upcoming UK events on the frontpage of http://www.fightingrobots.co.uk/

So we'll be at Guildford (again), last full event in Eruption's first year! Can't believe how quickly time flies. Pretty gutted that we can't go to Edinburgh, falls horribly in the middle of Maths GCSE's. Still there's an upcoming event in MANCHESTER, a holy 20 minutes from my house, and one in Leeds, and quite a few booked past September and *potentially* the UK champs over the summer. Gonna be a busy few months :P

Not that it's ever any different...

If I get all the bits for Stratos fixed I'm going to Edinburgh.
Anybody else going?
