Do you guys know any in-depth combot making guides that are up-to-date? The Riobotz one is from way back in 2009 and the world has changed a lot since then.

The discussions of brushed vs. brushless motors and how specifically to construct a robot are generally lost on someone without the understanding of robots and engineering that it provides. It taught me everything I needed to know in about 2016 to get me started, and know the questions to ask to get myself up to speed.Other good resources:Robert Cowan's youtube channelhttps://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPOTPYuDsKnXP9I-ph4yMggCharles Guan's legendary Instructables guidehttps://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Build-your-Everything-Really-Really-Fast/
brushless is the new hotness but brushed is the more simple option especially at the insect level.
