With 6 episodes, I'd be expecting a Battlebots model, maybe 32 at most.

This is amazing tbh, just annoying seeing all the people on Facebook ect wanting all the original house robots and presenters back that I can't see happening? I thought battlebots was good with the changes. If all the original presenters ect are there good if not then change is good anyway. I'm also curious on how the format of the competition will be run.

I'm welcome to seeing changes. I was fine with BattleBots, I'm sure changes to Robot Wars will be fine.

We could be looking at some spinners; a while back John Findlay was asking for a list of all active heavyweight robots, including spinners.

also sonny you know you have to recreate the whole new series when it come out right? :P

With battlebots and Robot Wars beeing back (feels so good to type this) I can see other (bigger) gaming companies tossing theire hat in. hopefully not EA though...

All American's will be able to watch it with a proxy and BBC iPlayer.

Edit: Also, think this guy's going to end up having a full archive if he decides to upload this show (which he may do due to the video):
(the video is nothing interesting itself, just good to see the revival of this YouTube channel)

It was some truly great news to know that BattleBots got rebooted, but honestly, this is what I waited for ten times more. It's so awesome, hard to believe it is happening.
I'm somewhat afraid that they may butcher the thing, and it most probably will be without JP and CC... though, I've been watching it with awful russian dubbing back in the past days... it was still cool. So I guess anything can work out, if there are robots involved...

In all seriousness though, it's gonna be awesome seeing the show that brought me into robot combat come back. If Battlebots did it successfully, who's to say RW won't?
