It doesn't need to be a carbon copy of the original and quite frankly I'd be glad if it wasn't. BattleBots adapted and that turned out alright.

My main concern was whether spinners would be allowed or not, but if they're commissioning a new "bullet proof" arena then that seems to have settled that then.

Well this just made my morning more interesting. I kinda hope I can find a way to watch it since I'm in the US. There's probably a way.

But all I ask from the producers is to not make a huge scandal issue that harmed the 7th Wars. Other than that, I'm all for this.
