He calls me and my friends "Fanboys" just because we gather info on Robot Wars, and work on the Robot Wars Wiki, and expect a high standard of quality on said pages.  He refuses questions about old robots even though he says he knows the answers.  He's a smart-arse, but can't take nearly as much as he gives; he ovrerreacts to everything instead of just ignoring trolls.  I'd hazard that the Joerger gene pool is just brimming with Aspergers, don't know whose bright idea it was to give them a computer.

The reason why is because you bombarded him with trivial questions about bots that fought once and never where seen again, not to mention the fact you stole an entire work of his with out permission. Ask Aaron is a Q&A for builders, not trivia pursuit.

That may be, but his initial reaction was so hostile that I assumed he just wanted to blow off steam.  Long story short we did eff up, but we eventually made it right, and he still calls the practice of wiki-making a "fanboy" thing; I really have no idea where we stand.  We stopped asking trivia questions when he said he wasn't fielding them anymore, you can see that all of the recent ones are questions that could be answered by a page on the wiki. 


More to the point,  my problems weren't about anything he said to me directly, but about the way he gives snarky responses, and then gets gobsmacked when he receives them (which he could just choose to delete from the inbox).


ANYways, that's enough digressing, I apologize for the tangent.  To make it up, here's something I found when I searched "cameron robot" http://www.discoverychannel.ca/Article.aspx?aid=34910  It looks like there won't be a combat element after all but the robotics stuff is pretty cool.

Honestly, that was just the backlash of me having a bad day.  Nothing is wrong with having Aspergers, I was just basing my "observation" on what "Parent Hood" and "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" portray Aspergers as.  But I'm not a doctor, so I've got no right to make such observations.  If you need to dime me out to Ask Aaron then so be it.  I was wrong to say it and I'm sorry if I offended anyone.

It's not just RWW, it's Battlebots and Robotica wiki's too.  Something about having detailed information on lesser known competitors rubs them the wrong way.  Like I said, if he wants people to stop asking him questions on one-off competitiors, he should stop reacting to people who do.
