Panic Attack pulled an Eric in the first World Championship against 101. Edge of the pit, drove themselves in. Surprising, considering how much of a good driver Kim Davies was supposed to be.

Quite unlucky, I would say.
Another robot I'd say that luck didn't do any favours was Eric, from Robot Wars Series 3. It had King Buxton right on the edge of the pit (Two wheels over), and when it tried to push King Buxton in, it drove off, and Eric fell in itself!

Milly-Ann Bug vs. Bumblebot was pretty much the same.

"Oh no, Silly, Silly Miss Milly!"

Chaos 2 also had one of those moments in the Second World Championship. Flipped Mastiff over, tried to pit it, but accidentally went in itself!

Then to add insult to injury, Manta then pushed Mastiff in afterwards  = /

Heck, or even Nightmare vs Son of Whyachi for that matter!

The second article on the Team Nightmare website describes it well-

How about Mechavore vs. Biohazard in 5.0? If Mechavore would have only invested in a SRIMECH, it would have won the fight easily.

Actually, they did have a SriMech in S3, but they took it away so they could upgrade his weapon. BAD IDEA.

Or to revive this thread, I'll mention Behemoth in Series 3. When Pitbull was flipped, it was rerighted by the house robots, but when Behemoth was flipped (By the arena spike, no less) , they let it die!

Well, what goes around comes around, I guess. You just need to ask X-Terminator from Series 7.

ok back on topic again

I will add that series 4 had the best pit ever, it lowered if a boring match was dragging on or once a robot was KO'd, the addition of the Pit Button made it annoying
yeah i agree with u jb but when the button was put in some matches they put the pit down with out the button being pressed for some odd reason

Or in Tornado's case, put it back up when they blatantly fell in!

Storm II deserved to win though, it was better than tornado.

Its funny looking at tornado nowadays, robot wars champion has gone all rusty

Too true. Still, it's nice to see it still exists. I know that most of the RW competitors still are (Ones I can remember include Chaos 2, Razer, Stinger, all three Cassius robots)
