my guess is when Turbo faught Buddy Lee Don't Play In The Street (D.P.I.T.S.)
It's I before E except after C, and when sounding like A as in neighbor and weigh, and on weekends, and holidays, and all throughout May, and you'll always be wrong, no matter WHAT you say!

Though the match vs. Double Agent in 3.0 was quite unfortunate for Turbo as well.

Haven't seen that yet, Buddy Lee D.P.I.T.S. shouldn't have won that match with turbo though. Buddy Lee was practically falling apart.

It was superficial damage - Unless a fake plastic grill, ladders and dog plushies meant more to Buddy Lee then just decor, it was only a change in appearance and didn't affect it's fighting capacity.

So you're trying to tell me that was a fair fight?

Battlebots fights are scored by 3 judges each with 15 points to give out.  5 points for aggression, 5 points for damage, 5 points for strategy.

*This is just from memory.*

Buddy Lee pushed turbo around the arena and kept it from spinning up which count for aggression and strategy. All turbo did was stay in one place and spin. Also I think Turbo's drive died about 1/2 way through the fight and couldn't show aggression.

I think it was a fair fight.

After using the Wayback Machine to find the old site and scores, it went like this:

Damage:
Turbo 9, Buddy Lee 6 (Turbo won the category since Buddy Lee had more visible damage compared to Turbo, though one judge give the category to Buddy Lee because of Turbo's drive damage 4-1)

Aggression:
Buddy Lee 11, Turbo 4 (Turbo showed some, but not much, aggression in the fight)

Strategy:
Buddy Lee 11, Turbo 4 (Turbo's spin and wait strategy hurt it severely, and it was only compounded with the robot losing drive)

Well disagreeing yet again I think Buddy Lee sucked in the fight. It sucks how you could win on strategy and aggresion, even when your ass gets kicked. I just think damage should count a bit more than the other two.

Forgot to mention Iron Awe vs Hydra vs Kat 3, Hydra was winning and then they drove to the descending pit.

oh Behemoth dont get me started :P

what about series 2 when the spike overturned it ?

also Hypno-disc plucking out the Fail Safe in Bulldog Breed

The reason Behemoth was flipped by the spike that easy is that its weakness is it's top heavy

And then there was the fact that when Behemoth was flipped, the House Robots let it die, but when Pitbull was flipped, they rerighted it!

Actually BLDPITS isn't defenseless, it has a small undercutting blade.
