I like DxTer, Son of Ziggy and the one built by the team that made Disector.

If you really want to laugh, watch this-

Then realize that the team that built Preda Raptor built "Inflictor" aka Tripulta Raptor.

As well as Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Carnage, and Pack Raptor(s). The Pitzer's are fairly well known, indeed.

My point was more that they lost both fights they've had with a hammer wielding mini-fridge.

Darn, Sewer Snake won. Im also said that this isnt a series. But we can wait for next year. But one thing. They didnt show all the fights. Like the ones with Breaker Box. You know where I can watch those.

You can also find some of them on YouTube. That's where I seen Breaker Box vs. Sewer Snake and the finals before they arrived on Science Channel's website.

meh it was OK

Also I loved Vera vs Touro, that was just insane.

Also kinda upset about the outcome of Avalanche vs Great Pumpkin, and Ragin' Scotsman was a pretty cool bot to see in the semis, even though 3/4 were pusher bots.

As much as I love Grant Imahara's face. We didn't need to see it all of the time.

Here's how the tourney actually went.
According to team run amok's page. They just took the best bits and made a tournament which never happened.
I thought there was something fishy as soon as I saw loser's bracket matches on their website.

...Huh.

Thanks for posting that - I didn't catch it on the Science Channel.

I have to agree with the crowd that Grant was completely unnecessary, they already have a guy commentating, and it just seemed redundant to have him saying more or less the same things the emcee was.

I take back all the horrible things I said about you qwerty.   :gawe:

And wow... while I do agree with the consensus that the show was 70% filler and 30% robot combat,  that 30% of robot combat was reeeeeeeeealy nice.

It has been ages since I have seen bot matches with nice television production values.  Slow-mo, sparks, replays, wow wow wow.  I would love to know if the science channel got good ratings out of that show to convince the executives to explore future killer robots installments.

Worth the watch in my opinion.  The final battle had me cheering at my computer screen.  Excellent stuff!

That's a relief  . I do agree that the shots of grant during the match were quite pointless. I mean, we can hear him. We don't need to see him! Well, its better than no robot show right?
