The Series 6 final was NOT the first time that Team Razer fought Tornado with the anti-crusher frame.  They had a battle in Extreme Warriors 2 and fought without any modifications to the crusher.  It was their own fault for not being better prepared the second time around.

Oh god, not this again...

I have no problem with Tornado having the anti-crusher frame to protect against Razer's weapon. I think that was perfectly legal. What I do find unfair was that it made the machine too big to go down the pit. Under any other circumstance, Razer would have won that match. In my view, Tornado was in the pit, but there's no point complaining about it now, it was more than eight years ago. Nonetheless, Tornado was an excellent machine, and as far as I can remember only broke down once.

One machine I liked that I don't think gets enough credit is Onslaught. I think it was pretty well designed, and even with car steering it managed to do pretty well.

Just stop it

The definition of cheating is what? Breaking the rules?
Did Tornado break the rules, e.g. Did they forbid it from entering the arena? No

My God can we stop the oh no Tornado use a steel web so that means cheated. Really and I am not being rude but it is the past.
GET OVER IT. YOU CAN NOT CHANGE THE PAST (well you can in the future but then it leads to this conversation and that conversation about time so on that note I'll just say Watch Through the WormHole Documentary but that's not the point) The reason this controversy happened is one of the reasons I started to watch Battlebots.

There are far more controversial fights, like Wild Thing vs Prizephita Mk.2. Get over it.

In the words of Rafiki, the past can hurt. But you can either run away from it, or... Learn from it.
