The 30 pound weight class where destructive weapons & wedges aren't allowedThen what is allowed? Rubber sticks? Lego?

Come on guys, Explosion got pretty close two years ago, we can do it this time!
Explosion - First EVER three-times consecutive UK championships finalist in either featherweights or heavyweights and reigning UK champion. Officially the second best UK featherweight EVER and arguably the best (due to having beaten the official best - Beauty 2, twice in the UK championships this year).
Eruption - 8th winner of Robot Wars, first winner in almost 10 years. Reigning Robot Wars champion.
:D
That wasn't bragging was it? Just giving you some reasons to put on your email vote :PCome on guys, Explosion got pretty close two years ago, we can do it this time!

I would vote Explosion as along as you don't end up bragging about.

WHERE :rage
MortisGood to see another Mortis fan about. :P
Kinda feels like the hall of fame has lost purpose.. seeing robots like Razer and Chaos 2 along with robots that "just competed last weekend" doesnt seem right to me..
Nothing against you Vertigo, good job getting in but I feel there is many missed past robots that made milestones..
yeah I'm pretty sure Explosion made it in because of GTM...nah i feel like eruption made it due to gtm
Mission, next year get on of MikeNCR's bots in, I'm sure we have significant influence over the results.
Kinda feels like the hall of fame has lost purpose.. seeing robots like Razer and Chaos 2 along with robots that "just competed last weekend" doesnt seem right to me..I don't understand, are there any still competing robots that do deserve in? I mean yes, definitely admire Razer and Chaos 2 for the precedents they set, but we've come a long way from them.
Thanks for your votes and continued support of the Hall.
- Mark J. -- much too old to be Sonny R. -- and much better looking.
Original Sin maybe? It was successful, but did it pioneer anything? Was it something new and creative?
Explosion will probably become a legend when it retires anywho..I can personally guarantee that is never going to happen :D
Original Sin maybe? It was successful, but did it pioneer anything? Was it something new and creative?
It has the most Combots Cup championships IIRC...do you realize how generic it is
You're only thinking of one factor the hall is based off. According to the call of fame, there are four:Original Sin maybe? It was successful, but did it pioneer anything? Was it something new and creative?
Did Explosion?
You're only thinking of one factor the hall is based off. According to the call of fame, there are four:
1) Dominating success in combat
2) Pioneering or perfecting influential designs
3) Having great fan or entertainment appeal
4) Otherwise making a lasting impact on the sport
So Explosion / Eruption would qualify for 1 and 3, and I suppose 4 to a certain extent. Obviously I don't know as much about Original Sin but 1 and possibly 4?
With regards to point 2, Explosion did "pioneer" Hardox on featherweight non-boxes, and I suppose if I was clutching at straws it perfected that particular design of flipper that's not the typical "pure wedge" shape. But I admit these are a little bit far fetched :P
