Building an Antweight horizontal spinner bot for fun.
« on: July 24, 2015, 02:36:51 AM »
I am 16, I have been watching Robot Wars, Battle Bots, and Robotica since I was about 2-3. I have a lot of episodes on VHS. I have been wanting to build a bot right after I learned to solder which was at age 8. I have been taking apart RC cars and making them into makeshift fighting robots, I have made a sh** load of those LEGO battle bots with the motors and battery packs. I want to take it a step further. I need to know where I can buy all the electronics. I also need to know what I can use for a circuit board and for a remote control. The funny thing is, I live in Northern Manitoba in a small town. All I have at my disposal is "The Source" which is basically Radio Shack. Looks like Ill be ordering stuff online. Also, I have no one to battle, but what ever, the fun is in building it.
