There's going to be a few matches left on the cutting room floor. It's been confirmed that those will all be up on youtube however.
Alright, so the pilot is now done, I guess I can give my thoughts.Ultra Violent vs. Son of Whyachi vs. Creepy Crawlies:As if it wasn't obvious enough, I can only describe it as Son of Whyachi's training session. I'll leave it at that.Blacksmith vs. Basilisk vs. Gemini:I feel shocked that some team actually made a useless hovercraft thing to compete as a "minibot" since that was going to do jack squat to begin with. As for Gemini, I was confused as there was only one half of Gemini moving and the rules stated that if one half of the multibot team was gone, the whole thing was done, or was that rule changed. Wasn't shocked that Blacksmith won. The only bot that wasn't doing something dumb or gimmicky (for the most part) and actually did things.Mohawk vs. Invader vs. Lycan:I was actually legitimately shocked with the result of this one. I was also hoping to see Megabyte Invader advance, but sure enough, it sorta pulled a Moebius and killed itself by losing a drive chain. Also, I don't understand why Lycan would think of attacking Invader when it's dead in the water and and still kill you. I wasn't sure if Mohawk was going to win at the start, but if Invader Zim wasn't gonna win, Mohawk would be the next best bot in the melee.Bad Kitty vs. Scorpios vs. Black Ice:Not sure how to feel about this one. I mean, with Bad Kitty experienced from building VD6.0, You'd think that you wouldn't make the same mistake as to put a decorative paper mache coating (or whatever it is). But I'd consider them lucky they got beaten in a much less brutal way than if they were against Son of Whyachi or Invader. I... wasn't quite sure what Scorpios was thinking getting itself jammed up stuck in the screws. Didn't think Black Ice would pull through, then again, it was kinda a battle of weaklings, so I'd be impressed by anything at that point.Overall, still pleased and shocked with some results. Still annoyed by the fact that the previews spoil some winners and how some matches will turn out, but I don't think it was that major this time.
It seemed like the guy driving Black Ice was one of the few pilots who actually did a good job. It surprised me considering he was an old guy.
ALERT- Another WS coming up...
I'm fine with hugging reier

THAT'S WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU'RE AN ASTRONAUTseriously though I didn't think that skorpios was really that good of a bot. front armor looked super thin and that saw arm was going to fly off on any horizontal impactdidn't see it lasting another round if it somehow won this one

It was stated repeatedly that over half of a multibot team had to be counted out for the entire multibot to be counted out, and with Gemini, that's impossible, because it's 50/50 instead of like 75/25 or something. It was also Lycan who vomited drive chains, invader just pummeled itself into immobilization. Mohawk won the fight by being a coward and letting the other two robots kill each other.
7.5.4 MultiBot IncapacitationA BattleBot with a MultiBot configuration will be considered Incapacitated when more than 60% by weightof the combined MultiBot segments has been declared Incapacitated.
8.3 MultiBotsA MultiBot is a BattleBot that breaks up into multi-controlled segments. MultiBots are permitted so long as they begin each match in "single state" and can exhibit the ability to return to "single state." MultiBots lose when 50% or more of its segments (by weight) are immobilized. All MultiBots segments shall be either wheeled or non-wheeled. Combination wheeled/non-wheeled MultiBots are not permitted.
I think Minotaur might do some major, serious damage to whoever it's up against first, can't wait to see them absolutely wrecked :L
(Image removed from quote.)Taking this picture and looking at the teaser footage we've seen, each of these robots is next to their round one opponent, with the exception of last season's semi-finalists at the bottom, who will be matched up against tonight's winning robots. That gives us:Warrior Clan vs SplatterHypershock vs Ultraviolent (I assume that they ran out of alternates and gave an alternate spot to someone who lost early)Chrome Fly vs Bucktooth BurlSubZero vs IcewaveNightmare vs Stinger (:/)Rotator vs Witch DoctorPhoton Storm vs MinotaurWrecks vs Red DevilLock-Jaw vs YetiComplete Control vs BombshellTentoumushi vs Poison ArrowOverhaul vs CobaltObwalden Overlord vs WarheadDisko Inferno vs ChompSawblaze vs RazorbackCaptain Shrederator vs DeathRollGround Control vs OverdriveLucky vs BetaRingmaster vs Ultimo DestructoMoebius vs BrutusBite Force vs Qualifier winnerTombstone vs Qualifier winnerBronco vs Qualifier winnerGhost Raptor vs Qualifier winner Ghost Raptor vs Son of Whyachi and Bronco vs Blacksmith.
