BiteForce main build failed, it couldn't lift anything, but himself  :laughing
Did you even bother to watch their fights other than with Hypershock? They lifted Warhead and Ghost Raptor in their respective matches...

Qualifying round was way too simple, and I have no idea how they ranked all bots after just 1 fight...what I can't understand is why those that lost their fights(wild cards) were no ranked 13th-16th, but somehow got higher ranking...My fav HyperShock(ranked 14th after winning) was about to stop our boring champion in 1/8 finals...lost due to electronics...

. The seedings were probably based on engineering prowess for some part.  Someone less charitable than I would sugges. That it was no accident thr a root with plastic armour got paired against the most destructive heavyweight in he fighting circuit, but for what it's woth, the grudge match between Overhaul and Lockjaw was. Michael Mauldin says thatthere will be an article in the September issue of Servo Magazine explaining the seeding and tale of the tape rationale

GUYS GUYS GUYS I JUST NOTICED SOMETHING!!!
In Razorback vs Ice wave Razorback was moving around until it propped up by Ice wave which then stopped moving and you can clearly see Razorback's wheels moving while up in the air while Ice Wave wasn't moving/catching on fire.  :dumb)

I thought people had already noticed that. But, I doubt that would sway the judge's decision because no-one at home wants the guy who did all the damage to go out now, do they?

Razorback was able to be repaired enough to fight Complete Control in a grudge match later so there's that.

I remember reading somewhere (could've been here even) that Razorback basically had a whole bot of spares so I'm not surprised they fixed it for an exhibition match.

I wish they bring back the background music. I don't think the guy who composed for the Battlebots show actually released his stuff did he?

The colorful cartoony 1990's are out of fashion, now people want things to be sleek and polished.  The novelty isn't there in this era, so they have to sell it even harder as a sports program, and sports programs don't have music during the action.

Unaired grudge match between Complete Control and Razorback, for anyone unwilling to click on random mysterious youtube links.

I didn't even know Razorback was a VS.  I guess that's another bot to skirt the active weapon rule, only it didn't work as well as it did for Bite Force.

Looks like Complete Control got one lift and flip in because Razorback got upside-down somehow.  Too bad they didn't catch that.

Razorback had a nasty looking set of jaws too. You could see the bottom jaw hiding under the wedge it used.

They mentioned in the Tested video that they had interchangeable weapons depending on the bot they were facing.

Do you mean the Icewave fight?  They had a lifter in that match, they just couldn't penetrate Icewave's ground clearance.

IMO if there's another season on the way, I'd personally like to see a HW version of The Master (or reasonable facsimile thereof) compete. Don't know why, I just do. Also, I'd like to see Biohazard make a glorious return to the Battlebox, souped up for 2015/16 (again, a reasonable facsimile/spiritual successor would suffice).

Also, on the subject of interchangeable weapons, if we count the aforementioned The Master then it's been going on since '95. Can't get much more precedent than that.
