Wrecks and Plan X are some of the stupidest serious bots I've seen in battlebots.

Wrecks was based off of the builder's antweight bot and Plan X seems to be more for show.

Can't you just watch in on ABC.com or Hulu?

It is not currently available on either service. I also do not have a cable subscription, and the ABC website seemed to imply that I'd need one from my cable provider. I'll be checking it out tomorrow again though.

edit: In regards to Plan X, I think you're forgetting that the Robot Action League mastered the art of gimmick and "high concept" robots, starting with R.A.C.C. in Long Beach 1999 and continuing indefinitely.

Show was amazing and large group of us UK roboteers are already planning out 2016 Battlebotsweight.
Also I learned that Hotdog Pizza was a thing.

oh my god this was amazing! I'm a little sad tho that beta didn't compete again, does anyone know why I only saw DID NOT COMPETE on the bbs wiki?

This was great. It feels so much better than what those skits on Comedy Central with personal interviews. Comparing then from now shows how much stronger the sport has gotten over the years and I like that. The battles were also awesome to watch especially since the show wraps around these matches.

What was not fun for me was cliffhangers before matches could start. Stop doing that ABC. It also doesn't help that they gave some spoilers in the commercials with Post-Round 1 matches and critical hits deciding the winner of the matches.

Still, I liked what was given to me, especially since this was a childhood memory to me brought back.

they couldn't get their weapon working (controllers were lost in transit) and had to pull out

also i don't think they did say the next matches actually. the next 4 should be the next four on the lineup.
