Just an alert.

I tried to go onto my RA2 file with the BoF bots on it, but it loads, I get to the title screen, it lets me move the cursor and stuff, but when I try to click "bot lab", nothing happened. I try to click "Exhibition", bothing happens. Even 'Quit', nothing happens. I have to use Alt+F4 to quit the game.
Help? (Yes, I can click things outside of RA2 just fine)
edit: Not working on any other RA2 file either.
edit 2: Not the mouse, I tried switching mice. Still didn't work.
I NEED HELP

Because the old thingy was fun and I had an idea (also with all these FSS and stuff it'll be cool to see how absurdly fast we can do it) :3 RULES: bot killing FTD MUST be LW We're going by "pics or it didn't happen", a screenshot of your kill necessary There will be a leaderboard, fastest to slowest time, ties will be broken by post time (say the first 17 second time will be ahead of the second). You can attempt multiple times, every attempt will be on the board. Arena: Replica Wars arena (or RA2TC arena with hazards off) Kill Flip Test Dummy (The Scrappers Bot3) in as fast a time as possible with a LW. OOTAs count. To avoid the leaderboard being covered with OOTAS, I created 2 leaderboards, one for OOTAS and one for KO's. Good luck :D OOTA LEADERBOARD Conraaa- Horace Wimp- 3 seconds madman3- FTD Challenge- 3 seconds NFX- Keystone 3- 3 seconds Kurt Wylde- Flying Physics XIII- 4 seconds king mushroom- Havok Ant- 7 seconds SKBT-Jaws of Defeat-oota'd itself KO LEADERBOARD Kurt Wylde- Pepperpot Punch 2- 7 seconds Kurt Wylde- Pepperpot Punch- 9 seconds Conraaa- Cyclops Rock- 11 seconds Badnik96- Final Z- 17 seconds Craaig- Blood orange 4- 17 seconds

So I was bored and was looking thru the beetlebros site. I reread the Component Stats page and apparently Pointy Tips and 30cm Pole Spikes are the most effecient weapons. Why? Same stats as razors, but 1kg heavier. Also TWICE THE HP. On bots like rammers, where normals aren't important, this could be critical for weapon life. Also, they're better than Irons in that department too. Same HP, more DP for 2kg less. The best rammer weapons are pointy tips, plain and simple.
Also, Ice Picks (single-sided) have the same stats as irons for 1kg less. And because the attachment points on ice picks allow you to mount them sideways, you can use them for spinners. Less weapon weight equals more weight for defense. :D Maces are still technically better, but if you want offense and defense, ice picks are the way to go.
Tomorrow I will prove this. As I am posting from my DSI, I have no RA2 access and these are only (well-calculated) theories.

1. DSL MW (no more than 398.8 KG), IRL Realism rules apply. I will check all bots to see if they fit. 1.1 Multibots not allowed. 1.2 "Ring Spinners" are legal as long as nothing but the drive intersects the disc. 1.3 all wedges are OK, but if I think you are violating the spirit of the competition, your bot will be banned. 1.4 I will be running JoeBlo's "Narmour Be Gone" patch for this competition. 1.5 No Cheatbot2 or custom parts, I will accept skinned parts however 2. Matches will have a 3 minute time limit and will be held in the BattleBox 2.0 (HellRaisers off) 2.1 All matches are one fight. 3. Walkers/Shufflers get a 200KG weight bonus, but must spend at least 200kg on the walking system (AKA something that does not use wheels or weapons as a means of propulsion). 3.1 Treaded bots get a 60kg weight cushion. 4. A havok will result in a restart. If the bot Havoks again, the bot will be disqualified from the match. If the same bot gets another Havok DQ in a later match, the robot will be disqualified from the tournament (don't expose your motors). 4.1 If your bot is counted out and is still able to move, the match will be re-started. (If the bot has at least 2 wheels and more than half battery power and is invertible) 5. No crawlers, popups, jugglers or other bot types that do not exist in real life. 5.1 No unrealistic weapon sizes/quantities 5.2 Bots must show controlled movement 6. No limit on entries, but up to 3 per person please. 7. The tournament will be run ARC style (Robots are divided into groups, where they fight all the other bots in the group in a Round Robin style bracket, 1-on-1. The best win/loss record of each group advances into a bracket. Those bots square off in a single elimination 1-on-1 bracket to decide the champion.) 8. No BFE/AAM, in-game REALISTIC glitches allowed 9. As in Replica Wars, I will judge the bots based on Aggression, Damage, and Strategy. My definition of Strategy is basically controlling the fight, beating the other guy etc. I will be entering, but I will be fair in judging situations. 10. All competitors must have a good time, no bitching about the AI. 11. Updates are infinite until the splash is posted. My entries: ENTRIES Badnik96 (3) 027 LB (3) Wafflez2damax (1) Squirrel_Monkey (3) FOTEPX (3) madman3 (3) That Robot Is A Spy! (1) GroudonRobotWars (3)Pressure (3) Ty4er (3) MassimoV (3) NFX (3) Dragonsteincole (3) SKBT (3) MikeNCR (3) Conraaa (3) Vertigo (3) Freeziez (3) Naryar (1) Clickbeetle (1) Zog (2) Omega (1) Powerrave (2) Skiitzzox220 (1) Avalanche (1) Trumpetguy (2) (third bot needs a fix)Stagfish (2) smashysmashy (1) Jack Daniels (3) R1885 (3) Urjak (3) G.K. (1) GoldenFox93 (2) Thyrus (3) ashman12 (3) Scrap Daddy (3) R0B0SH4RK (3) 123SaveTheWhales (1) Signups ARE CLOSED. Now that I know it's OK, does anyone want to help film? As I've stated before, I'm not gonna have a lot of time this year, and I don't want to end up running out of time. So I will accept 9 people to help me film. If you sign up, you must film one of the round-robin heats. This is 28 matches BTW, a little more than a single-elimination 32 bot tourney. When your are done, just send me the footage. Try to rename the files to they denote which bots are fighting please, it will make things 90 times easier for me. I will upload everything and give credit to the filmer that did the heat. So, any takers? 1. 2. 3. Me (I will be filming Heat 3 as I have already started it) 4.Freeziez (first heat without one of your bots in it) 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.

I/m editing the Battlebox to turn heckraisers off but no other hazards, and I decided I was gonna do it like GK did for Resetti's arena (edit the hazard delay times)
#Hellraiser stuff hinge = self.GetHinge("Hinge01") self.RegisterZone("heckzone1", 1) self.Hell1 = Hazards2.HellRaiser(hinge, (3.034, 0.0, -6.926)) self.AddHazard(self.Hell1) hinge = self.GetHinge("Hinge02") self.RegisterZone("heckzone2", 2) self.Hell2 = Hazards2.HellRaiser(hinge, (-3.049, 0.0, -6.926)) self.AddHazard(self.Hell2) What line do I have to edit, and what value should I use so that it doesn't activate during a 3-minute match?

Well, me and 027 decided to get together and do a tourney between Stock Irl realistic designs. We are gonna build 32 bots and drive them against each other in the Octagon w/no hazards(except the top part is now an OOTA zone). Judge decisions done by me.
PICS WILL BE UPLOADED
Results will start tomorrow

Hey, I've decided to run a "for fun" tournament. It puts every HW from the Atari Exchange into a tourney. (minus killer bots like Drumblebee and stuff to make it fair) The arena will be the RA2 T2 arena (to give flippers a fair chance). Almost 2600 bots will be competing for the prize of the best noob bot! Here's how it works: Bots will be driven by me against increasingly harder Stock AI bots (Big Dog is easiest, EMERGENCY is hardest.) If you lose, you're out. half the remaining bots will survive each round, fastest times advance. After EMERGENCY, I will AI the remaining bots and do a 4-way rumble tourney. competitors here: http://www.atari.com/exchange/ra/list?filter_class=Heavy+Weight&items=100&order=desc&sort=rating&page=1

When I try to send a PM, when it says who I sent the PM to, instead of everyone I sent it to, it only shows one or two, repeated names. Anyone else with this problem? And could someone fix it?

I've decided to restart. Rules: For this, you can run a team and create drivers to run in it. TEAMS Choose a make (Chevy, Dodge, or Ford) Choose the number of cars in the team (1-4) Choose numbers for your cars (0-99 with 00-09 also) Choose sponsors (must be relevant to 2011, CANNOT be an internet meme, CANNOT be a video game more than a month old) Owners must skin their team cars THEMSELVES. However, I can skin a car for you if you absolutely cannot skin. I will not accept a 10-second paint skin (a flat color with a number and sponsor I will accept, but not all entries should be that way) . Your car must look like something that would actually race in NASCAR. CAR TEMPLATES HERE: https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/templates for cars.rarThen you must make drivers for your cars. For your drivers, you must fill out the following stat card (660 points to spend, no stat higher than 100, no stat lower than 60). You don't have to, but if you don't all your stats will be 82. Speed= Concentration= Fitness= Intimidation= Aggression= Status= Courtesy= Completed Laps%= You must come up with realistic names for your drivers. It doesn't have to be your real name, but make it realistic. I will not allow any names that would not be passed off as real. I will allow more than 1 user on a team, but try to keep it just your own made up drivers. Points system: 46 for first 42 for second 41 for third, etc. The last place car gets 1 point 1 bonus point if you lead any number of laps There will be no Chase for the Cup as I feel it is stupid. The season will progress without a CftC.
