The arena was sold to the Storm II team captain Ed Hoppit, and the house roots were donated to charity. BTW, I like Robot Wars, but Battlebots at a close second. from what I heard the network that brought over RW for series 7 brought only the show nothing else, the rights to the names, merchandise, etc all still belonged to BBC so with no way to make money off it that scrapped it the house robots were donated to charity ?

the base shape looks like one of the whyachi base close, though Son Of Whyachi has a square chassis with the shuffle systems on each side, giving it a similar shape

I think robot wars got better and better as time went on.. shame BBC sold it or it would probably still have been on.. wonder what happened to the house robots ? it would be sad to see them just rusting away in a storage shed

robot wars has always been more active for me.. battle bots was just a huge weapon and slowly move it into your opponent, there just didnt seem to be much straogy it was just hope your weapon kills the other before your opponant
dont get me wrong battle bots was great, I still love it but I prefer robot wars

its nice to see a drum (not a whole lot of people build those)
your slapping on huge amounts of armour yet it has two exposed arena right at the front that a HS will find quicker then you can say.. "damn should have put armour there"
you will find robots that damage the bottom of another are more common then the top so bottom armour is recommended

if only the top part spins it just means its realistic :-D
that robot however is a shell spinner... most combat robot shows (robot wars and battle bots) did call Sheck spinners, Full body spinners but after such robots like Y-Pout the title of Full Body Spinner was given to them

haha I haven't seen images of Slizers for like 10 years, I had 1 set of them, Fire, Ice, Water & City, I also collected the robo riders back when I was little and then the very early bionicles (full set of the original 6)
