also craaig if you wanted to change those team names go into the teams.txt file in the AI folder and change them there

also just change the team image to say... rip.bmp or something and make a 128x128 logo with the same filename and put it in the AI folder

Modifications / DSL-TC 2.0 Has been Released

DSL is a completely new game it has new parts that replace the existing

robots from stock may work but wont last to well against DSL robots

my suggestion is download dsl 2.1 from one of the members signatures around here (Naryar or Sage) all you have to do is extract it and play, no install or anything so you can keep your standard version and DSL versions for whichever one you feel like playing :-D

as for textures.. in the Robot Arena 2 file you will find a folder called tutorials take a look in there :-D

I would recommend trying Dirt 2 it is a little different then what you are looking for but it is truly a great game. And the graphics are amazing.

I would love to but I only on a PS2, Im a ken block fan so I have heard a bit about it.

Im not bothered on PS3 yet as the austalian model(s) dont have backwards compatibilty for a stupid an unexplained reason

for me I own 80+ genuine PlayStation 2 games so I dont want to bother buying something that wont play any of those games

it may be best to check out the weights in game TG as the ones without weight in the text have it set in the GMF, from memory you can combine GMF weights and Text weights for components

just bypass to this comment :biggrin: component modding is a lot more involved them being able to slap whatever ever together in 3D Studio Max, its not a component making program it is a 3D modeling program which can make 3D objects,

from my understanding after you export it you need to do more work for attachment points, etc (which can be a bit of a pain.. I have tried lol)

the easiest way to to learn GMF editing from the numerous tutorials around, find components close to what you want and mold them yourself, 2 of the KOK prizes were just molded from other components but they dont look it at first glance
