the Clash Cubes arena is being changed, still that same concept only it wont be open at the start of the match so SnS robots wont fall out within seconds :-D

I agree a motor like the beta burst only a smaller arc would be cool, prevent those times when a robot is underneath and your flipper retracts pushing down on the other robot flipping you over

not necessarily im only taliking about distance between the front of the bot (wedges) to the rear (hypno wheels) distance may be too large this bot should have to mach of a problem because of the 4 wheel drive but others like Bladewave are trying to move the front around rather then simply spin just wait I will make up some images to explain :-D Edit:  notice the turning circle of robots with drive to the rear ? its a theory I worked on when making flail hammers with rear drive

it was just something I thought off since that is kinda Naryars building style, just something to watch because Grindhouse, having a smaller turning radius was able to get around Bladewaves wedges

looks good, I have noticed your bots are getting longer and skinner though (from drive the wedge)
this bot shouldn't have much trouble but be weary because your increasing your turning circle radius, just a little something I noticed with Bladewave in CC2

If you had infinite time, though, this would be a very cool format to use. indeed :P I think this format should be kept in mind for people hosting tournaments that dont make numbers up, for example RODE could have done this with only the 8 robots rather then ending after 3 matches ?

it works fairly well but with one large problem.....
like a lot of wonderful ideas I have this one doesn't fair to well in non 1 on 1 situations..
it seemed that it would dodge one of your robots and in the meantime jump right into the other one
another problem is if its "flight path" is disrupted it usually lands butter side down meaning its open to more attacks
still fun to play with though :-D

RY3NO is designed to dodge other robots attacking it from the side or rear using smart zones to tell it what combination to fire the flippers below, it can perform barrel rolls and forward flips successfully from a still (so not moving)

im currently working to put something together but it will take a few more days before I can really know for sure on its success rate :-D

I have been spending all day looking/ trying out different video hosting sites but we decided we would liek to finish off this tournament on youtube then dump it for something else lol im currently doing my best to resolve he problems but still after 5 attempts still no cigar

myself and DK were talking about doing one later on, one thing that you have to be wary of is like Doomed Bots, DK made these nice looking opening sequence's and I had to try and duplicate them myself for my vids which proved to be a bit of an obstetrical

really sorry guys but it seems youtube is experiencing problems with there uploader. I have tried several times to get battle 4 up but it reaches 100% I type in the video details, save them and then click in to my videos and it says that the upload for that video was aborted in my video list (no preview image or anything) its happened to me about 3 or 4 times across 2 days and has started since youtube got its new look uploader so really sorry to everyone especially DK but it seems youtube is experiencing issues right now will keep trying though
