Any specific parts you want legalised, Maz?
All the s*** I stick on at random to make my robots look awesome?
That, and I used the Dominator 2 spike on mine. I believe the post originally said all were allowed with a limit of one judge, so I thought it was all fair game. But most IRL tournaments do it this way, no real reason to change what isn't broken.
Well, allowing parts which are for decor doesn't seem to be too big of an issue; The dominator spike is a tricky one seeming as it's really good, but at the same time it's bots like dominator that kinda inspired this tournament. I'll let others decide on the spike.
Why don't you just allow decorative parts? And then, even if the intention was decoration, you can reject any robots that abuse this.

Possibly. Server space is limited so it'd depend on how many people show up.
You could always build something and compete too, if you want.
Yeah, but I don't know the first thing about building anything more than a crappy rammer ;_;
I'm sure Badnik would be more than happy to teach you. Or perhaps GeordietheJew. Either way, someone can teach you the ropes.

You'll draw into a dead hand with single purpose equip cards like that if you can't get out any fusion monsters. For example, your opening hand could be, Polymerization, Fusion Gate, Terraforming, Fusion Weapon and King of the Swamps. If Fusion Weapon wasn't there but a fusion material was there instead, you could have fusion summoned on that turn, instead, you can only set King of the Swamps or leave yourself wide open until you find a fusion material. Also, don't pick based on type. Ever played a Tag Force game (1-3)? There's a guy called Faty who uses a normal fusion deck, perhaps you could draw inspiration from him. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Faty However, do remember that he uses old cards, so you may want to throw some new stuff in to make the deck more competitive.

Right then, all the grudge matches will be done and dusted tomorrow, hopefully (when I have the time.) As soon as the grudge matches are done, I'm on to awards. The winners of these awards and honourable mentions will be chosen by me.

Fusion weapon is slow (due to it being an equip card.) Skill drain is a good call. If you're running normal monsters, too, The First of The Dragons would be the way to go. This deck could barely be made viable but there are some suggestions. Also... Emergency ban list!?! Thank God, I hated PePe. However, my Majespecters are not happy that Luster Pendulum is at 1

I am forbidding any super-fast robots that I feel are unrealistic. or if a bot is being pushed around upside down by it's opponent(s).
I feel like these rules are a reaction to my tournament Bots can be upgraded once submitted.
Be very careful with your wording, there. Does that mean bots can't be downgraded? You may want to use the word 'changed'. Also, you may want to clarify that any adjustments to a robot means that robot needs to be checked and accepted again because, as the rules currently stand, I could enter a robot within the rules and 'upgrade' it to a spinner later on due to it already being accepted.

Cards Against Humanity and Apples to Apples vs The Thing That sHould Not Be and The Mistake: Ok I completely disagree. It's hard to show controlled movement when you are being manhandled like that.
Did you read what I said about that or do you disagree with that, as well?
Final: Jousting Knight and Squire vs I'm Hungry and Hi Hungry I'm Dad: He punts my son out, I punt his to the moon. GG Jousting Knight and Squire. Very good throughout. I'm happy to have come second.
I found that quite amusing. It's like the dads were saying "let's get the small fry out of here, it's time for the dads to rumble." Congrats on coming second.
To me a robot using it's weapon while being under the control of another robot does not count as spikeballing. A prime example would be Me VS S_M in Battlebots way back when. He was a drum doing damage to me while I was pushing him around.
An important part of spikeballing to me is if you backed off and left the robot alone, would it continue to be uncontrollable? I would argue in the case of TTTSHB it would regain control very quickly.
Regardless. Thanks for hosting, great tournament.
Although I'd agree with you on that point, I have to work around certain RA2 limitations. If it were real people controlling these robots, perhaps RedAce would have backed off to prevent his robot from being destroyed in the process. If he didn't, that's his fault but, in this case, it isn't, it's RA2's fault. It could be my fault that I didn't hook up the AI to Omni(ram) but it wasn't reasonably foreseeable, I believe, that his robots would sit under a hammer which would constantly be in a position to hit it in an attempt to self-right. As I saw it, CAH and son won due to the fact that the AI doesn't know how to back off and was unknowingly being destroyed in the process, which is a feature of spikeballing. Also, using reason and fair judgement, I believe CAH and son would have won if both teams were controlled by humans. Regardless, thanks :)

If you don't mind this, then how about my F&S 1 & 2 Entries against my F&S 3 Entries?
Added to the list.

Brilliant that they've got JP back, like Reier said, he's the guy who made matches that much better, so I don't mind Crog Charley isn't here. Dara is great pick, don't know who Angela is and I wish they could have just picked Dara instead of having co-hosts but, whatever, as long as they work well off each other, these are pretty good picks.

Honestly don't know where the "If a bot isn't displaying controlled movement it's considered immobile" rule went seeming as Conraa's bot were both upside down the entire fight but oh well.
Although I am a stickler for the rules, the rule was mainly made to prevent, as Nary said, spikeballers. Conraaa's HW was not spikeballing (flying around using the spinner, usually whilst dealing damage) as such, more incapacitated with the probability that it would sooner hit a wall and self-right than hit another robot and continue to deal damage. Right, here're the grudge matches I have so far: Daddy Champion Rumble Son Champion Rumble Rumble (chosen from those that most impressed me in the tournament that didn't get into the final 4.) Ghost vs The Mistake Ghast vs The Thing That Should Not Be (in the DSL Tournament Arena) Lime Loaf and Lemon Bread vs Mega Metallicus and Mini Metallicus Machete and Pen Knife vs I'm Hungry and Hi Hungry, I'm Dad Machete and Pen Knife vs Jousting Knight and Squire Hurricane and Twister vs Cards Against Humanity and Apples to Apples Any more before I record and edit it all?

Shut up and kiss already! But, seriously, refrain from arguing (even if it's light-hearted) because we don't want to get too off-topic.

Of course TTTSNB wasn't displaying controlled movement, it was inverted and couldn't self right due to having a drum under him... gee sh**, this rule is supposed to get rid of VS/HS being in spikeball mode and still being counted as legal, not to punish an inventive turret hammer (of all bot types) for trying to self right D:<
Ah, but, the rule did do it's job because not just spinners can spikeball. As TTTSNB was trying to self-right, he was hitting CAH and would have eventually KO'd him without actually doing any aiming. When spinners spikeball, they're trying to self-right, too. This was the same deal and I think there would have been more of an uproar if TTTSNB got the cheap win while CAH was doing all the work. Semifinals are up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6O1RLVT_sc&feature=youtu.be&ab_channel=TheYuGiTomThoughts on who's taking 1st-4th? Also, from now, I'll be accepting grudge match requests (you don't need to be in the tournament to request any) as I have finished recording the main tournament, now.

Round 2, I really enjoyed this round: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_8THwAnbt8&ab_channel=TheYuGiTomThere was the astounding victory for Naryar by eliminating the top seed and in style! Loved Conraaa's oota, too. Great comeback from KingofKing's LW, also! Any predictions for Round 3?

Round 1's up and I'm off to bed. See you tomorrow for the rest of this. Also, at the end, I'll be taking grudge match requests and there will be a rumble, too so be sure to think of some requests you may want to make at the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xG73F66qcYw&feature=youtu.be&ab_channel=TheYuGiTom# (not embedding it until YT changes the thumbnail to something not spoilerific. You'll see these matches in the OP and posted as I go along.)

On a more serious note, yugi, what is the expected schedule for the battles?
Good question. I am have a bit more spare time than usual tomorrow, so I'll get cracking with this then but, for now, you're getting the two beginning matches in Round 1. Be expecting it soon.
