the original High Roller I made had small teeth on hinges pointing down for wedge defense, it was only small, your execution of the design was probably better having it sweep for wedges

sounds to me like the problem lies in the bindings or arena GMF... error messages come out of .py problems from memory
if the game just closes or closes with a not responding message, check the name in the bindings, spacings, check the bot file is in the correct corresponding location
try other things like different opponents, arena, etc to try and pin point issues

the 45 is roughly how many seconds will elapse before the pits will open
if it is set to 20 the timer on a 3 min match will show 2:48 when they open so its pretty close
