Actually that's still pretty cool. Only issues are the wheels but that's not serious.

Oh boy you made the forum more active by helping clutter the off topic boards, brilliant!
It's been fine the last couple of times...

It's okay, blacks are the worst batteries though, so either just use 2 ants or some battlepacks if you want to be realistic battery wise.

Custom Components Showcase / Re: Redstonize's Custom Showcase

Convert them to PNGs, you dont get any of that cloudy stuff (forget what it's called) around your pic for when you try to crop it or anything.
If his internet really has an issue JPEGs would be a better choice.

I updated the Urls a bit
Each bot that I will upload (and those I already uploaded) now haves a .TXT file inside, with the required component mod's names inside and the place you can find them. YES I have the pictures, but I just cant upload them. (Im not that stupid, domanating, I know how to press a keyboard button, do you?)
Seems to be a problem with my low-speed internet connection. Prehaps if I find a way to reduce thier size without reducing thier quality too much. I will post them as fast as possible when I resolve this.

------------------
Bot name: [Head Chopper]
Link: https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Exchange/Custom/Redstonize_Head%20chopper.zip
Notes:
A heavy spinner bot with hammers as weapon and solid defences. I think its not very much overkilling enough, I dont think I will touch it anymore since working on this tired me enough.

Bot name: [Bot Murderer]
Link: https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Exchange/Custom/Redstonize_Bot%20massacrer.zip
Notes:
A double-Hammer bot with a good over-weight (1400Kg)to keep it from bouncing when his 6 battle-axes falls on its ennemy. Each hammer head is made with 3 battles axes put together and a surplus 30Kg just to crush AND to punch the opponent's Top. I cant kill a standart Steel bot in less than 5 succesfull hits. Also haves a very restistant bumber to leave the other bot in FRONT of your weapon.

Bot name: [Steel Creature]
Link: https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Exchange/Custom/Redstonize_Steel%20Creature.zip
Notes:
A entirely steelplates-reinforced bot, wich provides overprotecting and wich is equipped with 4 zephir pistons, that can make very big holes in your opponnent. Its spikes is acid-made, so It adds a 500 pts bonus hit. It can overkill his ennemy in less than 3-4 succesfull hits. Even his front steel plates are weapons: They are attached to standart pistons, just to push you oppennent away while your pistons are re-armed. It can even get your oppenent stuck in it and then you can hit him with you primary pistons.
Convert the pictures from BMP files to JPEGs or PNGs, then you should be able to add them to your posts with the "add image to post" function.

Wanna create a new bot?  Everything's been done already, unless you do IRL (which is a complete waste of time).  Either way most people don't care.

Oh, it's still possible to create new bot designs. The only problem is that the whole community is going to frown upon you unless you focus your time towards building the same generic designs that everyone else builds.

Because it's not super-efficient and/or good at killing something current.
Artbots are fine. Conceptual bots like turret spinners and so on are fine. IRL is fine. What isn't is basically producing a design which is just badly designed and then passing it off as originality. If it works better, fine, but if you're going to make a robot that is worse and then pass it off as an attempt to be original then you're simply lying to us (obviously not referring to you Craaig since your a good builder, just a general message for everyone). If a robot ends up being generic, whatever. As long as it works well and does its job better than other designs, that's okay, that's how we ended up making designs we call generic; if a design was bad no-one would use it. New designs are great too, but poop dressed in new clothes is still poop in the end.

So are we going to continue denying that this game is dying or what? The number of people who have been entering BOTM's has been slowly decreasing, and now we're at one entrant (who is probably ACAMS anyway.) At this rate I honestly can't see this game having more than a year or two left in it.
I'm just waiting for a tournament. At this rate I might make one.

You don't have iTunes?
I do but having CDs is still kinda cool, and Vinyls are just cool as an object.

Bad luck man, I swear you had the sweetest records (well I found an old Mortal Sin vinyl in a shop a little while ago that I should have bought so I could have bought something pretty valuable).

uuuhhh it's an ant

what kind of drive would you expect
I dunno man but given that its a poker it would be kinda bad to be outperformed drive wise. I guess its not a major issue, it might be worse with a change but whatever.

Eh, I'd try and find a compromise and get rid of the copals for better motors.
