Hey, guys, it seems I'm your new Tournaments section mod. I've replaced Craaig, sadly he's no longer moderating the Tournaments section, as well as G.K. So, anything tournament related should be directed towards me and not Craaig. Thanks for the opportunity, Trov, Craaig and the rest of the staff :)

I really prefer the look of the RA2T#2 arena over that of the Ring Arena. I won't be participating but that's my view :P I'd enter, but I'm rather new to the forums and RA2 in general. I'd probably end up entering an embarrassment of a robot.

That and I can't AI whatsoever. I can try, but I'm not confident about messing with the game after my attempt at BFE.
Not entirely sure if the pictures are necessary, there. I wouldn't worry about not being able to AI, as Geice will do it for you.

The inside shot isn't customary, it's mandatory. You could say that all mandatory things become customary but saying customary insinuates it isn't mandatory.

Shouldn't your showcase be Badger does Ironforge, then?

46 card deck? I said you need draw power. Upstart only belongs in decks of 40- because people only run it to thin their deck (running 37 card decks, essentially.) What is that card after POD? Cup of Ace has to go. Forget what that continuous spell does or what it's called, so you'll have to jog my memory. Magical Mallet is always a -1, so it's not too useful. Run Chicken Game x3.

Oh, it's an OCG card. Yeah, I'd prolly not play it if you need a hand for it and you'd probably want what you get rid of.

No clue what you're running 3 of betwixt Terraforming and Reckless Summon.

Depends what the rest of the deck looks like after a revamp.
Also, could you tell me the name of the aforementioned card I can't recognise?

You're not running enough draw power. I imagine you end up bricking 8/10 matches. No clue what you're running 3 of betwixt Terraforming and Reckless Summon. I think I can kind of see what this deck is going for but I don't see it working, not without proper draw power to get a quick win before your opponent has time to lay out some decent backrow, or at least backrow destruction to combat that problem. Also, why are you running Clear Water at all? It won't work on any of your monsters because they have attack above 1300. The lack of good equip spells doesn't warrant running 3 Hidden Armory, either. Imagine if you drew into Bugroth and not Grizzly and you also had 2 copies of Hidden Armory in your hand. You'd be pretty screwed over, then. Why run 2 Dark Hole when the destruction of your own monsters doesn't benefit you? Just run 1 Raigeki and 1 Dark Hole, if you want monster destruction that badly. You have a ton of dead draws in this deck and not enough monsters or draw power to make it at least kind of consistent. I'd imagine it'd just be brick after brick, playing this deck. On another note; you gotta love highest ranked DN chat.

It'd either have to be a sequel or you'd have to rename it because I believe he's already done it.

Does the axe catcher really need a burst, or can it be static?
i assume it works as a srimech
The axe-catcher is mounted on a slow mag snapper and doubles as a srimech so it can quickly self-right from any angle.

making a game for a small community of fans who aren't even giving money to the studio seems unrealistic at best.
it's not, its aimed at the fans from the new seasons of BB/RW
I'm sure they'd buy the game but they'd have to find it, first. I am skeptical that the only amount of advertising that this game has had has all been GTM related. Hopefully, they release this on Steam and they get a bit more exposure for simply being on Steam.

The problem with modern yugioh games is that I refuse to play them if they're even a set behind because it doesn't reflect the real meta and/or what people are playing in general and that's what I want from a modern yugioh game. It's either completely up to date or retro. Anywhere in-between and I won't play it because I'll think of it as 'outdated' and not 'retro'. Yugioh need a game in which they can keep it up to date constantly and I believe they're working on a new PC game, which I hope will be Yugioh Online 4 because then they can just keep updating it very easily. They could do the Pokemon TCG thing (packs get you packs for the PC game) to keep profits up, too. Never knew why they haven't tried that, yet.

Is that thing still outdated? That put me off the game entirely. Also, because there's no option to hold a cancel window, like in the DS games, you have to continually select 'No' in the activation window and it did my head in. I didn't want to set cards such as Rush Recklessly because I knew I would have to kill myself if I did.

The thing is, when I can allow his attack to increase to 8300, I really don't need Moon Mirror Shield and ends up become a detriment to the deck because it offers no extra attack power. This is an OTK deck, not a powerhouse deck because it's a massive glass cannon and can explode in an instant.

They are :P That's why I said it's not consistent. Also, they're integral for the deck to function because of Ben Kei's effect. Besides, this deck isn't for competitive play, although you can trample Kozmo if they don't have sufficient backrow or a Destroyer in hand. Obviously, it's a glass cannon deck. If you don't hit 'em with first strike/attempt, you're done. Maybe I'll make a slower and more bulky/stall-y version so I can deal with backrow and stuff before Ben Kei hits the field but, really, there's no fun in playing a Ben Kei deck if you're gonna stall first.
On another note, I'm torn on what to play IRL. I really enjoy Majespecters but I seethe when I look at Raccoon's price tag, especially for a card I pretty much need 3 of. It's really the only set back I have from actually making that deck but I'll wait it out and try some more. When Ultimate Falcon comes out, I'll definitely try and have a crack at Last Strix + Skip Force.
