So my Dog was in emergency all afternoon, my mum nearly agreed to have her etherized becasue she was that bad but went for a medication injection instead.. And its now that we find her tablet from last night that she had spit out on the rug which seems to have caused all the problems this afternoon as she is perky now.. Talk about a rough 3 hours..

This'll be a standard 16 entry tournament. I have decided to scrap the Community Choice because it was too complicated.
Here are the rules:
1: DSL HW
2: No cheatbot2
3: No BFE or AAM
4: Four Pools, with 4 bots. Everyone will have at least 3 matches.
5: Matches will be 2 minutes long.
6: If time expires, winner will be decided on points.
7: Realistic Rule applies, but not IRL.
8: Multibots are allowed, but may not weigh more than 400 kilos per bot.
9: Walkers are not allowed.
10: Bye bot will be M.O.E.
11: You will receive 3 points for a KO, 2 for a WBP, 1 for a loss and 0 for a DQ.
12: In case of tie, Sudden Death will take place, where there will be NO TIME LIMIT and will only end when one bot wins.
13: Glitches are allowed if they are realistic.
14: If a bot havoks once, the match will be restarted, if it does it again it will recieve 0 points or be eliminated in later stages and 3 points will be given to the opponent.
15: I can AI, but PLEASE do it yourself, as I am a complete novice at the art.
16: The fun stuff: Your robot MUST be centered around a video game. It can be Duke Nukem, Space Invaders, Modern Warfare 3, WHATEVER GAME YOU WANT. However, only 1 person may use a game. For example, No Two Team Fortress 2 bots.
17: I'll need help making a splash.
18: 2 robots will go through from one pool. The winner of Pool A will face the Runner Up of Pool B, The Winner of Pool B will face the runner up of A, The Winner of C will face the Runner Up of D and the Winner of D will face the runner up of C. Then, winner of Fight 1 will fight winner of Fight 3 and winner of Fight 2 will fight winner of fight 4. Then the final
19: There will be rumbles at the end, each pool of bots will fight each other in a 4 way match and the winners in another 4 way match to find the Rumble Champion.
20: If you want, a Champion of Champions match will be set up for the Rumble Champ and the Official Champ.

Thanks SB for that info..
LiNcK's robot uses a poly extender to hold the sheet so its a good chance that happened..
Its like half sheets on the bottom of the chassis, they dont deflect everything.. perhaps its due to the collision mesh being so thin?
Tip from now on would be when attaching Half sheets like that, attach directly to skirt hinges..

Un-Generic-ness
Just a stock LW tournament, rules are:
NO HS'S, POPUPS OR CRAWLERS.
8 or 16 bot bracket (depending on intrest), Losers bracket too.
Wildcard bracket, depending on intrest again.
The only use for a Z-Tech/HP Z-Tech Is a weapon motor (if you can find a way, that is).
Your bot either:
Must use a 140cm extender
OR
Must be built off a snapper. (you can do both if you want)
I will not be entering.
It would be best if you AI'd, although i can if the need is high (BTW it will be copy/paste another bot's bindings).
You may make a splash for me to display as your bot's main splash, if you don't supply one I will make the splash
Brackets and vids will be updated every three days.

- BattleBox 2.0 arena, heckraisers off.
- 16 entries
- 3 minute matches
- Realistic Rule applies very strongly, IT MUST BE FOLLOWED (Garvin).
- No NARmour
- 1 Havok restart, 2nd time eliminated
- No cheatbot2
- No BFE, AAM, Trov Glitch, NCR glitch, or any glitch that makes the bot unrealistic
- Replicas are NOT allowed
- Cannot use DSA (why would you?)
- Robots must look as close to IRL designs as possible. (No unrealistic weapon sizes, disproportionate designs.)
- No face spinners
- Moving weapons may not touch the ground initially. It is OK if a robot is flipped over but not if weapons hit the ground when the match starts.
- Walkers and shufflers can weigh up to 800 kgs, but at least 150 kgs must be used on the walker or shuffler system itself.
- Bots with treads get a 60 kg weight cushion.
- MUST have a sponsor decal

Not sure about you, but the hammers seemes WAAAAAAAY overpowered in her match. No way that LiNcK's frontal defense should have fallen off that easily. Perhaps Joe could shed some light on this?
Unless Sage meddled with them they are completely standard... For all my tournaments I extract a new DSL 2.1 and put the AI into it..

lol, I know, I dont hold it against you.. you leave this thread for a day and it grows 15 pages longer... But yeah I want all the Motorstorm games regardless if others are better.. (Apocalypse looks mental from youtube videos I have seen :P) Really annoyed today... had to work back late and the store closed before I could get there  Looks like tomorrow it is..

The store was sold out of PS3s but another store was selling new copies of motorstorm 1 for $10, so I didnt want to pass that up.
Motorstorm 1 was only good with the add-ons. Sadly the servers no longer function and so the game cannot access DLC nor update itself. Still, you should get Motorstorm: Apocalypse or Pacific Rift.
Back read MOAR Im buying them all, Im getting Pacific Rift with the console and looking around for a cheaper price for apocalypse.
