Haha, that is awesome. I think I quite liked this because I liked Robot Wars. The sumo in the game is the closet I got to a robot fighting game. Glad it wasn't just me that played this game. I'm trying my hardest to track down a copy of the original game. If anyone wants to have a bit of nostalgia or see what this is about if you're intrigued, go here: http://bamzooki-sr.software.informer.com

I think if he's that occupied, he should really pass it on to someone else, in terms of hosting.
He last updated the OP 2 weeks ago. He hasn't been gone that long. Not to mention he has ample time left to finish this.

You guys suck at making those things walk well.
I immediately got better after this, haha. You should see The 4th Nan

God, how could I forget? It was like robot wars but slightly more far-fetched.
Yeah, haha. When I was younger, I had a slightly better version than the one we were playing here but that is impossible to find. However, the one I did play was the RA2 of my childhood :P

oh yeah, I remember this from ages ago. Me and my friends were pretty into it but could never figure out how to make something functional, due to the lack of a decent tutorial.
Just find Kosso and he'll show you how to become a master. He's a living legend at Bamzooki, but you probably knew that if you saw his Zook, goodgodwhatisthis, in the video.

Anyone remember this little ditty from the CBBC? Me and Kosso had a little bout in the old game that was made for it. Lovingly edited by Robo :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIvl1XumwPo&ab_channel=RoboBowler#Right, we're doing a small little tourney. You'll see the teams when they come.

- Multibots are allowed (limit of 2 minibots per multibot). However, the multibot will be defeated in either one of the minibots is destroyed/immobilized.

- 1 havok restart per bot per BO3 match. Further havoks will result in a lost round, if the havok is important enough the change the round outcome.
- I can AI, but AIing your own entry is encouraged, as I cannot guarantee anything more than moving toward the other bot if your bot is complex or strange.
- Updates (any changes to your entry, up to and including a completely new bot) are allowed up until the recording for the first match (I will post in the tournament thread to indicate this). After that, no changes can be made, excluding changes to a bot's skin.
- I reserve the right to reject a bot for any reason
My Bot:
Planned Awards The planned awards are listed in the spoiler. I'm not too sure what other categories there should be, so please do suggest some!
- Coolest design
- Most interesting
- Most unlucky
- Luckiest
- Best Match
The winners of the "Best Match" award will have a BO3 of BO3s rematch, with the first BO3 played in the tournament counting as the first point. This match does not go towards the final standings, and is purely a showmatch. Did I miss anything? Are there any changes you would like? This is my first tournament so I'd like as much feedback as possible.
This is now a signups topic and the rules quoted may not change. Have fun, you have 3 months :)

Let's not steer off path. Try to keep the topic RA3 and no off-topic quotes walls

It's a shame this wasn't finished before the deadline. Moved this to Completed and applied a 9 month ban on posting any discussion topics. You may lift this ban by completing this tournament but you will still have to wait 3 months until you can request to move it to signups.

Please pay attention the sticky'd gameranger thread in order to prevent unnecessary threads being made. Don't fear bumping it because it'd be on topic.
Edit - Added the thread to the end of the gameranger thread. First merge I've done and was pretty scared I'd cause some damage :P

Anyone here play Yu-Gi-Oh! BAM? I have done and I think it's a pretty good, fast-paced game. It's a nice time waster, but it's a shame it's almost play to play/win. So, I have started work on making it free via Tabletop Simulator. God, why did I do this? The following screenshot is not even the entire first pack released for BAM (A Newcomer in Alba Litora, has a lovely abbreviation):

As always with rules, we have to determine the reason for the rule. I think it's safe to assume the reason the rule was in place was to prevent wedge wars or, on the same lines, a robot winning just because he got under the other. Thracker still succeeded in this, so I think the correct way of interpreting the rule would be for Thracker's bot to be illegal.

I think 'no wedges' was extremely too vague. It either means nothing at all or means the banning of all wedges due to ambiguity. I have had a little chat with Dragonfire a while ago about Challenge rules and how I think they might be need a bit more polish so rulings are never an issue.
What I would like is no room for ambiguity. For example, for this challenge, the rule of no wedges should have been phrased on the lines of; Prohibited components: *Forget what the normal wedge is called :P*, EMERGENCY Wedge Chassis limitations: No wedge shapes
I also think it should also be debated as to whether the host has any blame for allowing Thracker's bot to be accepted, as it's reasonable to believe he may have had doubts accepting the bot if he read 'no wedges'.
I'm sorry if I come off as high and mighty by saying this and seeming like I'm talking for the Challenge Board mods, because I'm definitely not. It's just my view on the matter.

Right, let that be the last of Pewdiepie talk. Let's keep this RA3 related only.

It's an anime pack that I downloaded. Not too sure if it's updated, atm. I may look for it again, at some point.

And with that massive quote wall + possible flame bait from that last statement, I'm gonna ask we get back on topic and, if we talk about tournaments here, it'll be about RA3 tournaments.
