just a thought ?
did the component you downloaded provide any folders ? ones containing the preview image of the component ?
white crashing squares in the bot lab are commonly text files with no linking GMF or preview image

it looks like the turn speed and/or turn distance is way to much for LDL's robot.. you might want to fix that GK so we will still have to fight Scrap and Nar if we win....

I think Naryar is talking about making a new version of FBS .py that supports either a SZ firing zone driven off one of mads large circle SZ's or just a code to fire pistons at a particular point in time.

not necessarily from scratch.. could guide them through one of the tutorials. IM helps there..

usually if it is utilized in a controlled manner I would advise against it anyway in an arena like the electric arena

GK just a thought how about teaching others to AI rather then doing it for them ? if you keep doing all there AI all they will do is come back and ask you for more teaching such knowledge could go a much further way then doing it for them

that doesnt sound too fair ?
example:
if I have a robot that havoks sending the opponent into a position it cant right itself from you restart the match
then my robot does the same thing and you do nothing about it resulting in me winning ?

the rules look pretty good
you may want to clarify the havok rule a bit more though?
it sounds like after 1 restart you will just let the robots havok and do nothing about it :P

you know I just had a thought ... with the new way of voting in BOTM (unknown polling) its really easy to cheat via double accounting now ?
