I actually REALLY wanted Hugs to fight Minifridge since this is BBEANS testing and I think it will have many SS's

aww I really feel it would have been a different story if they went for different opponents, Hugs already proved its ability to stop spinners

thats what I plan for Backlash, since nothing can really be balanced all that different I am providing heaps of different looks so robots will all look different

also you might want to watch Naryar, he is very good at predicting a robots layout from outside pictures or descriptions

if not, sorry to say I think the final will be rather lack luster given how dominantly DA won, we were putting up a good fight if I wasn't double teamed at the start

im going to agree too.. we owe it to click to all give it a good shot.
I know myself when someone says "I entered a fail robot for teh lolz" I feel a little sad its filling up that way, Im not saying I dont like original robots, entertaining robots or soemthing like that they are welcome but I dislike intentional fail (except KOK as that was designed for fun)

(particularly liked your FS Volcano apart from the unoriginal name) Thanks Nar, also while that name sounds very generic and unoriginal the motive wasnt as obvious as it may seem this is where the name came from   For Joe, I DO like when you are building new flamethrower designs (particularly liked your FS Volcano apart from the unoriginal name) but not when you are entering flail glitch bumble balls in tournaments. while I like discovering the new glitches I too dont really like them in tournaments, 1 vs 2 was a few things, first I wanted to see if I could AI a Gyratory robot + sign of good faith to RR + out of time and other designs failed. I WANT to see someone beat them, it would be great, and yes am a MinionNar when it comes to DSL building... I used some of your robots as models for my first DSL robots....

Mag snappers and BSGs have the same torque
correctamondo or something like that :P as Naryar found BSG's fire faster then Mags too... in fact the only advantage I have seen with Mags was on clamps as they are stronger when holding another robot.. but BSG's all the way for subweight flippers

you need to outline all rules, weight class, restrictions, allowances, veron of RA2, etc
you also need to write up a format, about how you plan on having 10 teams run in a bracket and arena
have you already advertised in that forum section ACAMS made for an AI'er to help you, if not this thread shouldn't really be here
and finally do you have the ability to record and post matches ?

wow Urjak wanted to protect Reier to the bitter end :P still good and close match guys, unfortunatly Hugs is only invertable with the back shell panels on the front otherwise the wheels wont reach the ground still first DSL Grand Final for me Im hoping MG win as I think we have a good shot at them, we could probably take on deadly accuracy so long as we arnt double teamedagain... but even if we won we would have to do it twice
