Okay, huge bump and a bad bot. But never mind. I know theres too much open space and the weapons aren't great, but this is the first successful effe-ing I've ever done, lol, and was done more to learn effeing than anything really. Grenom (like, green venom. lol) DSA

"If 50% of the weight is beaten the whole bot is out"
Umm.. does that mean that if the other half of the cluster bot dies, the match is decided or what? Yeah, I think so, like the rules inforced on Gemini in the UK also. They once got beaten cos one got wedged on a spike on the side of the arena.

I'd use tornado wheels, but you'd have weight problems with the multibot thing

Looks alright, but, I think the tribar is upside down and I hear sledgehammers suck in stock RA2.

To put what they're saying in context, here's your bog-standard round extender But look how one box is greener (circled in orange below). That's the connection point that you'd connect to the bot with (you can change this by clicking on of the other one) But this leaves all 3 of those open connection points which you can add stuff to - see the yellow circled points below. What they mean is putting a razor on BOTH of those points, creating more damage!

I just tried making a Tentamushi, and failed dramatically. Lol. It might work eventually.

i think it may be vulnerable against side attack that should reverse it, Same weakness with these 3 central extenders ; You should protect them.
At last, how does this bot turn ? can't you eliminate the 2 front drive motor+wheels and replace them with stabilizer that should allows foe to get near your vertical weapon (use of skirts) ? I'm gonna work on protecting the extenders a bit more. The turning is fine, if a bit unstable at times. Well, I've changed the motors for NPC (or whatever it is) Fasts to stop it flying around so much, but as for the front, i dunno how much I can do without upsetting the rule of 7. I'll make a few copies of the bot and run some experiments. VS stabilization think nightmare it had a tripod like layout :-D I quite like the idea of working on a Nightmare-esque layout, this might help a lot with stabilizing it. I'll work on it all later.

I suppose, just as long as it doesn't go gyro dancing after a minute.

Strangely (although this will seem a lie) I was just thinking that i needed some stabilisation, cos it did a front-flip in a match. At this point, I was saying '... oh.'

ya got a point there but this is my mums friend's bot so i cant edit it Lol, well that's fair enough then :P. Still, show some more of yours and these guys will help you along as much as they can. Just be careful of the n00b whackers on this forum. There's a lot of them.

Naryar's gonna have a field day here. (He has 'a thing' about empty space, and building to the weight limit I believe...)

Lol. I suppose. It's damn fun to use anyway, especially when I wasn't planning on making a VS at all. I just wanted something up high :P And it gets good hits with a fast run-up. Might change the motors. Dunno yet. 'Cos I quite like it.
EDIT: Just made a HW version of PTWASB, which used a perm 132 and NPC fasts. It's a lot more stable, and I will switch the drives on the SHW version for some right away XD

I really hate KOTH. Where's the point in having weapons if you ain't properly using them?

would that cause cause more issues ? I mean some people take it with light heart but others may find it insulting I'd add it to my achievements :P

To help, we really need to see the insides, and a weight.

Okay, rebuilt. It's wider for better stability and all the wheels are grippier (and the bear claws are the right way round this time). Only problem is it may be seen as underpowered (only an orange and a battlepack), but i tested it with all motors on and it took 50 secs to burn up a quarter of it's power - longer than the general quarter of a match (45 secs). The extenders help with support. The back wheels are on the inside because one wouldn't fit (damn max sphere)

The wheels are used to help balance weight, and so are the hammers (the disc hardly ever starts if they're not there - its just sat on the ground)
But I'll work on the wheel choice.

Ah, didn't know that :P *is feeling a bit thick* I'll change that later...
Still, i'm getting some damn good hits with it.

And now... Pink Thing With A Spinny Bit (Couldn't think of an original name) Made as a SHW for a reason... you can probably work it out. cant remember the armour. 5 titanium i think. 1 orange battery, 2 battlepacks and 2 ant batterys.
