Contests / Re: BOTM April 2010« on: March 19, 2010, 09:58:58 PM »Mine is realistic. I figured it's like posting bots in the DSL showcase. You CAN make something unrealistic, but you won't get a lot of respect for it (unless it's something really special). I guess so... I just remember last time I exploited the "AI parts allowed" in a DSL BOTM a while back, was controversial 7643

very cool and might be usful for all the spinner robots in Backlash (credit issued to yourself of coarse)
Oh and why I think of it, you should use it for hypnodisc in DSL 3 since in real life it was there strategy to move slow until the weapon was up to speed ![]() 7645

please dont take it as me being a pain in the butt, its just as I wanted to run another one all is pretty much in order here aside from you need to list some rules so we all know the go and the format (best 2 out of 3, arena, etc) 7649

Challenge Board / Re: Epic Showdown Type Thing« on: March 19, 2010, 01:50:27 AM »
well it seems GK, you knew exactly what was going on in that conversation :P
Epic Showdown was an invite only tournament I made as I wanted Pwn, Ounce to fight Naryar ![]() I challenge YOU! To Epic Showdown! sounds it should be grudge match.. Epic Showdown was the tournament name not the name of a match type :P I was planning on bringing it back actually larger with other competitive rivalries (a lot involve Nar :P) 7651

6 matches in 6 weeks.. and he criticized my speed of 30 matches in 9 weeks (which isnt to great itself, I know) but he will still need to upload 12 a week to catch up to that pace

I was used to the old forum software when it tells us the percentage filled on our pm box so I ignored mine and it was 26 pages long ![]() well its back to 2 now but still does anyone have a limit? (besides sparkey) 7653

I dont do everything I do for the sake of a little number on my Wiki Page, I do it to have fun, I help others so as I can share the fun I have, if modding isn't your thing just have fun with what others create as that is there intention ![]() if you want to learn yourself there are plenty (including GK) that are happy to help you out.. we have loads of members who only visit weekends (I dont know what GK's secret to online amount is) 7654

Reier never doubted you ability but perhaps your looking over the others a bit to much ?
its good that your proud of yourself I guess, but look at the level Pwn, Ounce and 123 are on ? I dont doubt GK as a top member and he contributes so much to the community but Nov 22 seems a little late to be best newcomer of 2009 (sorry GK, its the same as my join date being to close to 2008) 7655

DSL TC Showcases / Re: LiNcK'z Botz« on: March 18, 2010, 09:40:26 PM »horizontal trappers have been tried but none looked very effective. *cough*HAFAA*cough*... then again heavyier weightclasses it is true.. clamps get out weaponed to easy but obviously I like it as its a clamp :P to me the flipper extenders are first to go.. and I assume it doesn't open the clamps when the weapon fires (such in the bottom picture) otherwise it wont be very effective 7659
Tournament Archives / Re: NAR AI Wars v1« on: March 18, 2010, 09:22:27 PM »
the way I see it ... we are building a community NarAI team(s) but they will fight each other and be filmed
hence all the specific restrictions 7660
