Real Robotics Discussion / Re: Least favorite robot!« on: March 31, 2010, 08:31:34 PM »
yeah your both wrong :P
Sparkey is more correct though as he noted Sheck Spinners are not Full Body Spinners, FBS are robots spinning the full mass (not just the outside armour) while having transitional movment (umm.. being able to follow and opponant while spinning) Y-Pout and Why-Not are examples of FBS robots 7529
Discussion / Re: BFE multi bot?« on: March 31, 2010, 06:13:16 AM »
I had a discussion with Click about the possibilities of BFE chassis splitting...
I dont think I have the pm anymore but he did mention a few things I can remember.. 1) the other segments lack the magic of mobility, so they would have to have some other way of mobility 2) AI would be an absolute horror there was more (a massive detailed essay analysis and explanation haha) but thats all I remember 7530

General Support / Re: How do you BFE and use AAM?« on: March 31, 2010, 03:25:57 AM »AAM would be easier for that, IMO. BFE or AAM would be equally easy, BFE would be quicker if you knew how to do it, AAM would be a lot easier to understand and utilize for people not to familiar but everyone knowing is an overstatement, its common with long term players (like SSG) or modders, but it tends to be a "trade secret" since it really does open a can of worms as to what can be done I dont know about others but I learnt most by self teaching but I will credit Nar for getting me started :P 7534
Modifications / Re: Arena Compilation« on: March 31, 2010, 01:28:21 AM »
you will need SSG's final say as its his name, gimmick, etc
but dont forgot about the re-skinned DSL tourney arena I made for him ![]() I gave that to him as a separate edited arena so it wont conflict with the original (I think I did the same for the robonova arena) 7535
