awesome

I have a robot in my showcase (Tumble N Rumble) that is very similar to this

so is a recently showcased robot from Yoda.

dont forgot you have 800kg to use up, may as well make the most of it all  ;)

yeah its a juggling/ gut ripping design.. the plow is there for pinning

downgrade the plow
get rid of those batteries and put in about 6-7 ant batteries
move the drive backwards and change for Left Right versions
add a second set of drive identical to the first
put hypno wheels on all 4 drive motors
and use the blue control board

 :smile:

very nice first bot and of course

  :welcome

to GTM, great to see an italian on here.. I dont think we have many (if any at all)

Inf isn't entering, on the grounds of: "DSL is ghey"

wow that is surprising.. really I mean we have other stock pros here entering just becasue its BBEANS

surprising that inf would throw away his BBEANS ranking for that.. I guess since leaving he doesnt care for RA2 as much anymore  :ermm:

actually funny enough its the stock components that are screwy.. most are compared to the DSL stuff

your compiler dislikes the ****ed up stuff but one of them (I think FB's) will smash it all together anyway

you could change the wedges to polycarb and then put a shell piece off the other shell piece to cover the motor and extender  ;)

not bad I guess but your wasting so much weight when blue Snappers have 2 attachment points

that could halve your chassis size

ok I had a look through it now and located many problems

1) you were trying to decompile the text file ? you need to decompile the GMF (located inside the folder SPARKEY Z-TEK)
2) you changed the folder name but didnt change this in the text
3) you added .gmf on the end of the text files name

what you need to do is decompile the GMF file.. ztekAU.gmf then find this line

Code: [Select]
*BITMAP    ztek_AU.bmp
and change it to

Code: [Select]
*BITMAP    SPARKEY Z-TEK.bmp
then compile ztekAU.gmf

----------------

then get rid of the .GMF in the text file name SPARKEY98 Z-TEK.GMF

open the text file and find this line

Code: [Select]
dir = aupp1 - ztekAU
and change it to

Code: [Select]
dir = SPARKEY Z-TEK
and delete this line

Code: [Select]
hidden = 1
-------------------

then it should work if you do all that correctly

frezal, Shrek pwned.
The first two were enjoyable, but they are not in the same league as Pixar movies. Pixar makes movies that are timeless; the jokes in Shrek are very much dated to a particular time.

Kids love anything shrek,, here is a another Chasers clip to prove it  :mrgreen:

Other Tutorials / Before you Attack The GMF
« on: April 06, 2010, 12:49:47 AM »
we have been getting a bucket load of questions, I have counted about 6-7 in a week through pm and in tech support and I get the feeling people think the GMF is open attack once decompiled

the GMF is a "tread carefully" place, im not saying give up and dont try it.. but you must know what your doing before playing around in it

there is no need for me to make a new tutorial when a great one is sitting on clicks site perhaps a little forgotten...

http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/modding.htm#gmffile

make sure you read up on what each part of the GMF does so you know what you can and cant do when in there

best of luck
