Modifications / Re: is there any battle mod pack for modern day battlebots« on: June 13, 2018, 03:42:46 PM »
Your best bet would be the RWRA2 mod, found here. https://gametechmods.com/forums/downloads/?sa=view;down=253
It does not have all of the bots from the current battlebots season, however it does have bots like tombstone and megabyte as seen at robogames along with many other robot wars robots seen on television and during live events. 723
Robot Rumble 2.0 / Re: Robot Rumble 2.0 - Robot Combat Simulator - Under Development« on: June 07, 2018, 03:27:08 PM »
Loving this update! The new botlab is much easier to navigate and build on. I really like the custom parts option and all of the helpful tips with each step in the bot building process. Also, the new bots are fantastic and look great There's only a few minor bugs I've noticed:
Eruption seems to spawn backwards during each match. Sometimes arenas such as the Warehouse and Lava Pit start randomly flashing. The caution texture in the arena editor instead changes the texture to blank white. Overall, this is a really great update and I can't wait to see what the next one will bring. Keep up the fantastic work! 724
Discussion / Re: DSL weapon motors feel terribly weak next to real life« on: June 05, 2018, 02:58:43 PM »I think RWRA2 actually did this. There was a weapon motor that was both tiny and extremely overpowered, so with a good enough weapon you could punt opponents across (or even out of) the arena, like in real life. Of course, you also get the recoil/gyro like in real life, and at high enough speeds your bot will just start shaking and fly off uncontrollably. I'm pretty sure the Last Rites replica had this. I just feel like something this small and powerful would just end up being used by every spinner in the field and render all other bot types near useless despite the insane gyro effect. 725

Whoops. Totally forgot about that lol.

Man, I haven't booted up Ironforge in a while. The wingman tourney got me back though and I decided to slap some stuff together.
First off is Nail. Nail is a 399.8kg poker that is going to be competing in wingman with Plerco's bot, Hammer. Next, here is JUMBO. JUMBO is a HUGE style VS that weighs 399.5k. So yeah, those r my botbois. 727
General Support / Re: Game wont let me play in fullscreen« on: May 20, 2018, 08:59:07 PM »
If the screen goes black but the game keeps running, hit Ctrl + Alt + Del and then hit open task manager. This should force the game into a minimized state and pull up the task manager. You can just close out of the task manager and click the RA2 icon on your taskbar. This should pull up the game and make it so that you can play fullscreen again. If this doesnt work then I have no idea lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Discussion / Re: How did you find Ra2?« on: May 17, 2018, 03:10:29 PM »
I think the first vid I saw was a bbeans 5 match. Although, stupid me didn't come here after seeing it and instead bought RA2 in the box off ebay. I played that copy on my winxp for so long and I always wondered how people got DSL and Ironforge because they looked so fun. Several years later I would find out that it was all here.

I love hilltop arena but the AI becomes ultra retarded once it falls into the hazard areas.

I attempted to make a Hellachopper CW but instead got a very unstable mauler with french fry arms Also about supports, the angles that I took the pictures at don't show the spinner support very well. Although, my AW and BW are pretty flimsy 739
