Just quickly whipped up these to work out everything before the arena goers into production.. I just plan my arenas out in Sketch up rather then drawings so I can see it in 3D form, I just used the default textures but the real arena will have a proper skin made by me.. Robots start on the Corner "Crypt blocks" and The Green things are Flamethrowers which I will make green for a more ghostly feel.. There is a few extra surprises that you will find out about later..

Why are we sacking Exo?
Mediocre Employee But in my personal opinion if you make it DSL MW, then most of the robots would look more like battery boxes making it a lot harder to tell apart.
Why would we want robots hard to tell apart? I'm guessing that most bots will be uber stacked HS but we shall see...
Well I hope with Hax mode it open up possibilities to make other types effective, Stock will always be HS spam in the lower weight classes

Its back from the dead a year after I originally made the topic :P, some stuff has changed a bit so be sure to re-read everything. Format -
16 Robot Bracket, Best out of 3, Single Elimination
Basic Rules
Stock v1.4 with normal AI Parts Allowed (Including 140cm Extenders) No Cheatbot2 stuff No BFE/AAM/Zero-G/Thyrus Hax Burst, etc. I will check every bot file's armors too... Normal stock glitching/ stacking is allowed Hax mode is completely permitted Exo Stacking and Casters however are not allowed Robots must show controlled movement and use at least 2 powered wheels for movement. Weightclass is Lightweight, robot may not weigh more then 249.0kg Arena will be the Graveyard Arena (pics to follow when I finish it) Extra Info
All parts in my game will be skinned 100% transparent so only the chassis can be seen (so you can see some action still) a defeated robot will be revealed at the end of the fight with all parts visible...
I encourage all to make new robots and not showcase them (at least not showcasing as "this is my entry") as that just spoils the fun. Also try and skin some nice looks to it so its not just 2 white boxes moving about the arena :P
I will AI any robots, but I encourage you all to give it a try (I will tweak out any mistakes) its a great skill to have.
There will be a bonus challenge/ award for those that want to guess all the robot types prior to the matches

For future Info, Deleting it doesnt always fix the problem, it just makes the robot use the default which is
'nose':math.pi*2
The 4 common building directions are..
'nose':math.pi*2 'nose':math.pi 'nose':math.pi/2 'nose':-math.pi/2
If you build with your robots using the top of the Blueprint as the front of the robot you only need 'nose':math.pi*2

I think you need to stay within 1 weightclass of each other. LW and MW or HW and MW. 300kg/ CW wont work as well as MW/HW. MW is about the limit without being fodder.

I have to agree, the LW's arnt going to be a big enough game changer the HW's should clean them up fairly easy, load up a HW SnS and you wouldnt have a worry about the opposing LW at all..
