Yeah, the image is huge, MK Wii is old now, and it's hardly very useful on a RA2 forum :P

My title doesn't matter, I am still the same person.

Well said :D

I think MKB saying 'what's AIing' and all that was a hint that he kinda didn't know what he was doing with starting the tourney.

thanks guys. is hamchi the best way? and is there anything i can do about lag? sometimes its pretty bad

Yes it is.
And with the lag... why do you think most people don't play online? :P
It's totally unavoidable, sorry.
Best thing to do is be the host - you don't get as much lag - but then your opponent does. Kinda unfair :P

What are those black spinning discs, I've never seen those before at least I don't think.

Potter's Wheels - on the same dropdown menu as Mechavore/Clep/Backlash etc discs

And Joe, it's good to take pride - technically C33 should've stated, but yeah, it's all finished now :P

the winner wasn't a surprise but both bots looked like they could've had that at moments O.o

That seems a bit... light, especially for that hulking thing.

And that's exactly what a lot of people thought when the discovery about motor use/battery output was discovered :P you can easily run a dual perm (the huuuuge motor) with just 1 ant batt. Obviously, it's better to have more - a lot of people have a maximum of 2 to a spin motor.

Just to help out a bit, I'll give you a bit of building advice :)
Okay, so these are replicas, so the usual 'shrink the chassis' and 'build to the weight limit' deals don't apply, but most of the other rules still apply.

Long black batteries (as seen in the 2nd bot) suck. You're better off just having an ant battery for each spin motor (this will even work with the biggest spin motor, the dual perm), but you do need full ampage for burst motors so, what I usually do, is put a few extra ants in.
Drive motor wise, Piglets aren't great - they're weapon motors, and similarly I think with slimbodys. NPC Fasts are a very popular option here.
Blue control boards weigh less than the green ones, but are slightly larger. They're generally more useful because of the weight advantage though.

Best way I can explain Hamachi is that, one of you makes a server, and everyone joins that server.
Then, effectively, you have a 'LAN Connection', and you can make games on RA2 over that.
As long as whoever's playing has hamachi online, the connection will be there.

@Craaig... the robots all should navigate around the walls like a normal arena, the AI wont retreat if they are open as (as far as I know) the AI is unable to detect weather the wall is up or down

Yeah, I'm just saying that the low walls may give a slight advantage with the huge hammers on BMMB-C. But yeah, I see what you're on about.

I can't do skins to save my life, sorry.

But I do recommend instead of putting the bot up for download and attaching the photos, use the image host on the main page (www.gametechmods.com). You can then copy and paste the first link it gives you, and you can put images into your post like this

Much easier than downloading them :P

Ah, a rematch from CC2 for me then, eh? Sounds good ;D Looking at how low the walls were there, I reckon I might be able to punt it OOTA.

I dunno what you've done with the batts for the new one, but it is commonly accepted that, for spin motors, 1 ant batt per motor is enough.

Welcome to GTM, or welcome back to the RA community, one or the other :P

As a reply to a lot of the predictions of mine, it does have wheels, although sometimes I wonder if they're any use, it's heckish to turn. I'm hoping for stuff just to hit the hammers and fly out though. Feeble hope :P

Anyway, I gots me a bye. Woo!
