General Support / Re: Bots, transfer. POSSIBLE?
« on: April 11, 2010, 07:36:42 AM »
Well if you've exported them correctly, that's where they're gonna be. Do the robots have any characters that aren't A-Z/0-9 in the name? It wouldn't export my bot codename.clam2 because of the full stop.

I think I should start being competitive rather then spending hours on useless walking robots

What's this? JB losing that creative spark that makes him build amazing looking robots? NOOO :P

I FFUUUUed a minute ago when I got to some big icy thing in Metroid Prime and had no missiles to take it down. So I let it kill me and I had to travel over the entire world to get back to it ¬¬

I've been with my girlfriend for just over 2 years (in fact, 2 weeks over 2 years) and I'm 16, so I dunno. We're happy (at the moment :P). It all depends on the circumstances

So we've had a Hardest Game thread, and a Legendary game thread... what about the game(s) you're playing at the moment? You don't have to include RA2, for obvious reasons

I'm currently playing Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii, which I bought yesterday, Half-Life 2 (a sporadic re-run, cos I love it) and RA2: Backlash (I'll count that as I'm building on it a lot :D)

EDIT: LEET POST! :D:D:D

I remember Sonic Heroes. I have it on PS2 from back in the day. I got stuck with everyone except Team... whatsitcalled... the girly lot. I think I did pretty well with Chaotix as well actually.

We seem to have a lot of threads popping up saying hi, I thought it'd be an idea to have just 1 general thread, so if anyone wants to introduce themselves, this thread could be the place to do it :D

Just to start things off, my friend Martymidget has signed up, I've taught him a bit about stock already over the last month or 2. Dunno if he'll post (scaredy cat  :p ), but yeah, that's him introduced :P

all pwn must do is host a tournament and he will crack at some point (very sad reality really, you would think people could be a little more mature on here)
Yeah, it only seems to be when people are running tournaments for the enjoyment of these moaning people that the nicer tournament running people end up cracking. Which is a shame, seriously.

everyone should keep in mind how very well RIP was ran
Why thank you :P It was a lot of work.

if you need any help Craaig, just let me know, ;)
It shall be kept in mind, thanks for the support :D

Stag, do me a favour, and GTFO.

And another of the nicer members plunges into righteous wrath.

Joe, now Craaig... So far the only one i never saw rage was Pwn (the most optimistic member in the forums by the way). Will he be next ? :P

Haha, righteous wrath for a good reason though, may it be said. 'Tis cool to be called one of the 'nicer members' anyway ;D

my post edit is better then 1000x600 px images that say "Moar Videos Now" or something to that effect

Oh so that's what it was?

Stag, do me a favour, and GTFO.

As you all know, biggest exam season of my life is like a few weeks away. I have a lot of large exams. I have a lot of stress. So I think you can wait a bit for a lousy video of a few n00b bots.

No you didn't. You still have Papyrus.

*cringes and shivers at the mere mention of it. There are only 2 other fonts that give me this effect.*

Servo half-crawler ?

It looks very underpowered to me.

Edit: And you might use also TWM3s since they have more hitpoints than the drive TWM3Rs and if your drivetrain is wider, it will increase your turnspeed.

2 ants aren't enough for 2 drive motors and 2 servos? I thought it would cover it. Regardless, haven't noticed any power issues with him.

I would've thought it'd be enough too, Servos don't require batteries do they?

Just a few points from me... Spike strips have normals - they only do damage with specific areas of the component - i'd use iron spikes.
You use a square extender inside - don't, it's just as strong as the round ones but heavier. And also, the square extender could surely be shorter? (:
Also looks slightly underpowered, but I'm not totally sure about that.
