People need to stop complaining about IRL. We've had this whinging for 3 years, possibly more, and IRL is not dying out any time soon. If you wish to support a meta, do a tournament for it or keep quiet with the complaints please because you won't change the majority's favorite meta by simple persuasion. Personally I find DSL-S obtuse and hard to get into, so i went to IRL and never came back, although i am not a good irl builder by any stretch of the imagination.
I'd have to agree.

Decided to make a Code Black replica, could have been better skinned but the chassis made that quite hard.

Now THAT's a good looking Code Black.

I'm honestly quite surprised my bots won a few battles. I mean, all I cared about when making them was making them as identical as possible but in different sizes. I think I did too good of a job on that part...

May reskin a part for the hazard stripes on his side, it is actually possible using 45 degree yellow and black parts, and looked AMAZING, but everything started twisting and jittering around, and no amount of going in and out of botlab, or restarting RA2 would stop it. There is definitely a practical limit to component chains, and I think I maxed it out at about 35.
But yes, this is a fully featured Sgt. Bash rep. 360 degree turret. Front claws (only the top ones actually move, although both are mounted on front-hinged bursts). sh**ty redundant saw at the back. Green. Unreliable (Drifts one way, which is a similar problem I had with the Dead Metal replica).
Aw HELL yeah!

MAJOR UPDATE!
Due to the increasing popularity of the IRL pack, I'll be revising all my replicas (including the current ones) AGAIN to accommodate these new parts.
Do year, the time being, expect a bit of a delay with the replicas. If anything, I'll just show WIP images of them. I've already got a new replica of Blade Runner ready to be given custom components.

No compiler? Did you use this one?
Yeah. He provides a link to a list of versions and I don't know which one to use.
I mean, you usually use the newest version of things, don't you?
Yup. And the one I downloaded had no compiler. Just the decompiler.

So: would anyone get involved with a one-off stock full CF (excluding unlimited weight) tournament? It's a really, really stupid idea I've been sitting on for a while and would probably only ever work once, but I'm curious as to absolutely how far RA2 can be possibly pushed when the rules are lifted on component placement.
Oh god, that would be something else...

I believe the first of its kind? Could be wrong. All thanks to Dragon that this was even possible. And before anyone asks. Yes. It bends:
