How about we try something different?
RULES - DSL LW/MW/HW/SHW - Battlebox 3.0 - 3 minute matches - Realistic Rule applies very strongly, IT MUST BE FOLLOWED (Garvin). - No NARmour - 1 Havok restart, 2nd time eliminated - No cheatbot2 - No BFE, AAM, Trov Glitch, NCR glitch, or any glitch that makes the bot unrealistic - Replicas are NOT allowed - Cannot use DSA (why would you?) - Robots must look as close to IRL designs as possible. (No unrealistic weapon sizes, disproportionate designs.) - No face spinners - Moving weapons may not touch the ground initially. It is OK if a robot is flipped over but not if weapons hit the ground when the match starts. - Bots with treads get a 60 kg weight cushion. - MUST have a sponsor decal (https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Arena2/Misc/AU_Decal_Pack_1.0.zip) (https://gametechmods.com/Robot_Arena2/Misc/JX_Sponsor_Decals.zip) - LW walkers/shufflers can weigh up to 425 kgs, but at least 175 kgs must be used on the walker or shuffler system itself. - MW walkers/shufflers can weigh up to 800 kgs, but at least 400 kgs must be used on the walker or shuffler system itself. - HW walkers/shufflers can weigh up to 1200 kgs, but at least 400 kgs must be used on the walker or shuffler system itself. - SHW walkers/shufflers can weigh up to 1600 kgs, but at least 400 kgs must be used on the walker or shuffler system itself.
JUDGING - Fights will be judged on significant attacks and control of match. - Fights will be judged on a spectrum of 45 points. - Fights will be judged by me, G.K., and SKBT.
PRIZES Division Champion- A guaranteed spot in my next tournament
Here's the catch: There will be 32 entries. You can only enter 1 bot, but into whatever weight class you want, unless that weight class is full. 8 people can enter LW, 8 MW, 8 HW, and 8 SHW. Each group will battle for division champion. Yes, this means there will be 4 champions, which also means I can't give 2nd place a prize. Sorry. Division champions will get a reserved spot in my next tournament, because it would get old if everyone starts getting component prizes.

Hey craaig, I had an idea.
I know it's a bit late for submitting, but why not some new one:
Pokemon stats must be somehow according to robot stats - Attack means the damage potential of the robot, HP/Defense means the armor, Speed... etc.
AKA, you can't build a Gyarados nor Aerodactyl bot with too much armor, a Rattata bot should be quick and damaging but frail, a Snorlax bot should be a Mighty Glacier, a Blissey should be very armored or tough but not very damaging nor fast, etc...
Just to make things nice, simple and easy for everyone :P

Home and Away
- DSL SHW - Realistic Rule On - Multibots NOT allowed - No BFE/AAM - No Cheatbot2 components - One Havok restart per match, if the bot havoks again the opponent gets a win by 3-0 (See Below). - 16 bots with an additional 2 added spaces for Urjak & MikeNCR - Arena for preliminary stages is the Keznorg IGC - Narmour be gone enabled.
Home and Away, for the most part, is a 10 bot league with home and away matches. However, there is a preliminary stage in order to decide who joins Urjak and MikeNCR in the league*
Preliminary Stages:
Now here's the plan: 16 bots shall be split into 4 4 bot mini leagues, fighting in the Keznorg IGC to determine who joins Urjak and MikeNCR in the league. The top 2 bots from each mini league shall advance to the main league. Every entrant shall be asked to choose 4 arenas in order of priority, this will determine their home arena if they get into the league (See below). If, for whatever reason, either Urjak or MikeNCR pull out then there shall be a series of rumbles between the 3rd place robots in each pool to fill the spot. Each match in the preliminary stage is 3 rounds.
Choosing Arenas:
-Entrants must choose 4 arenas in order of priority. Stating whether hazards are on or off, if it is not specified then I shall presume the hazards are on. -Arenas chosen should not give bias to any starting positions. Home robots will always start in the player 1 slot, the away robot in the player 2 slot. -I reserve the right to ask entrants to change their choice of arena if I deem the arena unsatisfactory. (For example, small arena with hazards on) -Arenas chosen should be able to fit SHW robots comfortably. To test this I shall run a battle between SHW Holy Cow and SHW Death Star 3 from 123ai. If they don't fit then you shall be asked to choose another arena. -Custom arenas are allowed, as long as they adhere to the rules above. -No seizure arena -If there is any conflict (2 or more people wanting the same arena on the same priority) A series of one round matches shall be run to determine who gets the arena. -All arena choices must be pm'd to me along with your entry. Do not post arena choices publicly I want to keep them secret.
League:
The matches for the league shall be 3 round matches for 3 minutes each.
Scoring shall work like so:
4 points for a 3-0 win 3 points for a 2-1 win 1 point for a 1-2 loss 0 points for a 0-3 loss
The bot with the most points at the end shall be the winner! Ties shall be determined by whoever got the more Wins by KO's throughout the league. Havok wins count as 3 ko's. If it is still a tie then there shall be a 3 round fight to the death in the Keznorg IGC.

Here we go....Signups will continue for 3 weeks, ending on October 19th, or until we fill the 32 bot bracket, whichever comes first. RulesRules are as follows. 1. 32 bots allowed. In the event 32 entrants are not received within a reasonable amount of time, there will either be byes given to pad the entrants, or there will be a wildcard bracket to determine who gets the last spot in a 16 bot tournament. HAX mode IS allowed, providing rule number 9 is followed, and none of this 'exostacking' stuff 9. Realistic rule enforced. 10. Custom AI is allowed, provided it's not of the cheaty type, ie. no healing, constant damage, etc. etc. 11. Standard double elimination brackets. 12. Also standard havok rules. 1 havok restart per bot per match. On a second, disqualification. 13. No trinity, nasty pickle, whatever, controlled movement is the key here. 14. Multibots are allowed, both must be dispatched to count as a loss, and the two bots together must add up to no more than 800 15. matches are 3 minutes long. 16. having a component move under your hovercraft to gain lift is allowed, however, if your bot is designed to gain a few point lead and then shoot into the sky to avoid any further damage, I'll count it as an OOTA (My discretion, don't worry, i'm fair) 17. I can AI for you, but as always AIing yourself is the preferred method. 18. All bots must have at least one ant battery for realism purposes, even if you don't use an electric motor. 19. Phil Collins references still encouraged. 20. Skinning of components is allowed, please send all files needed. 20. Bot must be received and approved before you're officially entered. You get ONE update to your bot, but that's it. Update can be a major change, However, your original bot must adhere to all rules, as well as be viable (my discretion). No boxes with a hovercraft and nothing else for a 'placeholder' for example. SIGNUPS CLOSE 16:00 UTC ON WEDS 19TH OCTOBER 1) BUILDING RULES a) DSL 2.1 HW b) 200kg allowance for walkers (Walking multibots must obey this 1000kg rule) c) Must bear a GOOD resemblance to a Pokémon (See the Paras/Dugtrio battle). d) NO SNS/SS/FBS – sorry, these will be far too battle effective. e) Realistic rules apply f) No glitches/outside modifications allowed, apart from those intended for realism. g) Multibots allowed to maximum of 2 (may NOT be different Pokemon unless very well connected – good examples of Pokemon Multibots would be Exeggcute, Plusle/Minun and Nidoran(M)/Nidoran(F). THEY MAY BE THE SAME POKEMON, as long as the joint weight DOES NOT exceed the either 800kg or 1000kg weight limit.)
2) COMPONENTS a) 123’s mini hovercraft may be used for bird/flying Pokemon. b) No cheatbot2/custom components other than reskins c) Reskinned components are allowed, as long as you make them as a new style/component and don’t overwrite any DSL components. Stats will be checked for changes, changes = ban.
3) MATCHES a) The arena will be a reskinned Replica Wars Arena b) 3 minute match time, with instant elimination. c) 1 Havok restart, if I deem the Havok to have affected the battle significantly.
4) SIGNUP SPECIFICS a) Up to 3 Pokemon can be submitted, so you have a choice for the gym/league battles. If a choice is not submitted, I will pick it at random. b) ALL ROBOTS WILL BE CHECKED BY ME, because at the end of the day, this tournament is FUN, not for battle-effective destroying machines. I prefer to think of it as artbot-with-weapons. c) Pokemon can be upgraded once, but not replaced. d) Any denied Pokemon have 1 chance to be made acceptable, or that specific robot will be banned. e) SIGNUPS CLOSE AT 16:00 UTC ON WEDS 19TH OCTOBER f) I can AI, but with so many robots to AI it would speed things up to no end, and help me out, by sending me bindings. Woah i ask a simple question and this is what i get. remind me not to ask about a projects progress anymore.
While I dont agree with short sharp responses to other members.. you know you were asking for it right? I know first hand those types of questions are among the most annoying thing you could hear.. especially if pressured.. Basically (this is for everyone) think of it a little more logically, if there was updates or releases.. dont you think they would have been posted? I mean someones not going to start a mods thread then never show or release the mod they completed are they? When updates are posted, there is updates
