the concept of irony is lost on asbestosstar
asbs is one of the best trolls ive ever seen
He possibly tries to be a troll on all levels. But his attitude around his trolling, is worst than his ****posting.

I'm surprised that Kill-E-Crank-E of all bots is back, they must have something good.
Kill-E-Crank-E was not only ridiculously long for a Robot of this generation, but somewhat ineffective in terms of weaponry (The disk couldn't run fast enough to cause damage. 450 RPM max speed if you want an idea) . But still, all hope given to Robin Herrick for that he can pull something off better this time around and possibly make it to the head-to-heads if lucky enough. Still, I have seen some images of JellyFish on Instagram, or rather on a competitor spreadsheet on the Robot Wars Reddit. You won't be too surprised on the looks and the weaponry. Edit: Got the RPM wrong for Kill-E-Crank-E, It's 450 RPM not 500 RPM Edit 2: Grammar Fix

If you don't be spoiled, then don't look on the page or look at your own risk.
But there aren't any spoilers.
Shhh, it's only for the ones who want be surprised when it airs on TV. Which is no one on these forms. But still, what are your thoughts about this?

Bulk, nerco post here. I found this from the BBC Media Centre website, after stumbling upon the link on the Robot Wars Reddit page. The page confirms the air date and the who's completing in the first episode and new features of Series 9 (2 whatever) of Robot Wars. If you don't be spoiled, then don't look on the page or look at your own risk. http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/proginfo/2017/10/robotwars Edit: Useless grammar fix

gtm: more standard omgggg standard: *happen* gtm: nah
C'mon, quit being squares and enter this.
I repeat.
I'm feeling bad for you Kurt. You really want to do something with a DSL tournament that's not IRl, but hardly anyone is in the mood for it. Why don't the people build DSl-S half the time :really_makes_you_think_:?

Got to love the quality that you put in your work Rob. Back to the topic, Flipster, just lack the potential of being capable of a powerful flipper,, the flipper end output could of been higher while still making the bot IRL with extenders, despite Flipster performing an OOTA with the assistants of pinning Crocodile Smile (CS) up against the arena side wall. It's a little too surprising that CS managed to pull an OOTA on Flipster, but that was just the help of the power of CS' drive, with the axle weapons to assist CS on throwing Flipster out. Hope Rob does keep up the good work (Need something better to say, think).

Looks like third entries may be a possibility at this rate? *Sigh no comment*

Why do all the meme bots win at the right time? Also, that Thwack bot is maybe too lucky, but it's still deserved a place in the third round.

since you have so much weight to work with you definitely need to make it wider and with a shallower front, combined with more front armor like ramplates or something. I wouldn't be against making the drive wider to help turnspeed
also I'm pretty sure 2 black batts is the minimum for hw popups
Pretty sure you noted about there only being one black Supervolt. I had difficulty trying to stack the battery into the other, even when I followed a tutorial for battery stacking and hitting F12 on the keyboard. I'll get to work on it as soon as I can. In addition to what Reier said, it can't hurt to spam more razorz, or add some "horns" like R4 to help with getting a perfect 1st hit, which is so important for popups.
More RAZORS?

Something I've been working on during my break (Yes, I only got bored playing DSL but not stock, to a degree). I'm aware it's not finished and still flawed, but I still need some input on how to improve the design of this bot.

Because I'm out of the tournament, I'll have go with IWTFRCs (I want to **** Rob Collins). Don't ask why but I might as well. Or just wait a while for a true favourite.

I may not be used to building HW Stock bots, but this may be a bit of a blast, even when I'm not the best HW bot builder. I'll make an entry soon.

Well that didn't last long. gg and it'll back to the drawing board for me. Also I noticed the flipping power was struggling to properly flip the other bots, so I'll also need to work on that to improve the flipper.

Time to reveal all the fights of Losers Bracket Round 1! The Winner Bracket battles will be uploaded with the Loser Bracket video.
As usual, 24 hours for modular robots... if there were any.
Seeing my loser's melee: I'll be surprised if Hell Spawn does survive melee four. The melee appears to be very strong, these bots may of fallen in the Qualifiers, but they still have a possible potential out there. Hope I survive *Fingers cross*.

Some of the questions are better but it's a pain in the arse when they ask you how you feel about 2 things in the same question, an example being, "Do you think that euthanasia and suicide should be legal?". I agree with one but not the other.
But the one is just medically assited suicide so they are both suicide
Actually no. Euthanasia can be committed under both medical and normal terms of suicide where ever you are in the world, for example if you wanted to die or needed help in committing suicide; your friend can just grab a gun and shoot you at anytime, or a medical reason like your friend pressing the off switch on a life-support machine at anytime to turn off life support, so you can slowly die. However either way, that would be classed as murder and that person who assisted you in euthanasia will be charged with the same charges as a murderer. The only time euthanasia is legal is when the government medically allows a person to die or turn off life-support in certain cases like if you're terminally ill or fully paralysed, then the government will allow it in certain cases. Face it, euthanasia is still the same as suicide no matter what. Even when you think it's more to do with medical terms, euthanasia can still happen outside of government relation and hospitals themselves.
really don't care if someone kills them self tbh
I'm just making a point about euthanasia is not just a medical term ok? I just want to end this argument.
lol don't get defensive it's just an argument on the internet my man
It's just I wanted to put forward my view. But anyway, I'm going to move this to one side now. Happy?

Hope it'll be worth a shot. I'll be thinking of giving this a go if I can build a good heavy weight.

Personal opinion on Fights 5-8: Fight 1: Got to love the Sewer Snake weapon system on Slambot. When Tiny Trident had a similar weapon system, this is more of a true Sewer Snake weapon with the bottom weapon firing as well. Also, is it just me or A Sneaky Pole (ASP) reminds me of Broadsword from Robot Wars? They are similar to each other with the long pole on the front but one's round and ASP is a box. Fight 2: Supremo Drone will live up to heavier counter-parts at this moment. Bit of a shame for Diatomic, it had a possible potential. Fight 3: Seens like the meme bots always win at the right time. If the turtle doesn't win it all, I'll fall into a great depression of bitter anger on how a robotic turtle doesn't win a single tournament (Still it'll make good turtle soup). Subterfuge had a good potential though, a shame really. Fight 4: Guessing I was wrong with the Vlad spikes on a ring spinner. I don't really have much to say about this battle.
