New bot: Barroth. Weight: 779.7

And insides:

Still some empty space and still underweight but I thought it was a good enough starting point to show here. Has 2 blacks and very fast drive. I also put some caster armour on the front corners to try and protect the extenders holding the plows on.

Made the wedge shallower, rotated the razors, switched to shinies.

It's definitely unique.
Thanks (I think)!
I'm digging it. Just rotate the razors properly so that all will hit at the same time.
Cool, will do.
i think it has a little bit to steep of a wedgie but overall good
I tried a lot of different chassis to get enough weight to get everything in, this is the best I could do, but I agree the wedge is a bit steep.
I would make the wedge shallower and use shinies for the wheels to get the weight
Ok, I will.

1 or 2 blacks? I'm guessing 2?
Yeah, 2 blacks. Thats the bit that took the longest, other than the chassis which took a really long time.

two baseplate anchors to hold the zteks behind the black should give you the weight for another black.
Done now. Took forever to stack the blacks, and also the baseplate anchors, but finally it is done:

And insides:

My first Pyscolone Popup! Sure, it's ugly, but it works!

make the chassis a wedge, once that ramplates gone the bot is useless.
Done:

A suggestion would be to build a Psycolone Popup, as a test of your skills.
I tried, so far unsuccessful. This is the closest I got:

Weight 375.8 , it has everything except the stacked black. I've been trying to take off as much weight as possible so that I can get the extra 30 in and this is the best chassis I've made so far. The snapper II has a t connector holding the hp zteks on.

You could expand the chassis and turn the servo sideways since you have the weight.
Done. Made the wedge much better in doing so, which is nice. Weight: 389.7

And the extender stuff:

Still not completely happy with the wedge though.

You might want to bring the plow back a bit so the weapons can stick out some more.
Done:

Started making a new bot also, called Jaggia:

Works well if it can get under something, but is quite unstable so it is difficult to get under anything.

And insides:

Weight: 395.7. The chassis isn't perfect but I had to make room for the snapper II. To give it hp zteks i had to sacrifice the straight wedge, and the wedge is slightly off-centre. I don't like the look of this one as much as the other ones, but I need to test it to see if it performs any better.

Helps in damage and gut-ripping, correct me if I'm wrong. There's not much else available for weight investment, though.
Well, I will give this a try, but afterwards I will probably move on to a new bot, as I'm pretty happy with this one.

Possibly upgrading the weapon motors?
Will upgrading the weapon motors help much with a face spinner?

nice FS, now the next step is to replace the servo with a snapperII (the blue one) and you'll be set.
If i do that what should I use the extra weight for?
A suggestion would be to build a Psycolone Popup, as a test of your skills.
I might give that a try later then.

If you could snapper-load the wedge so that the extender goes through the servo, it would help it in out-wedging enemies.

Done. I'll post a new bot soon.

If you can flip the burst around and make the wedge strait it would be better.

That is as straight as I could get the wedge. Does making the wedge straight actually affect how good the wedge is?

I tried with razors again but with the plow on right side up this time, so that it wouldn't stop it from gut ripping, as Sage said.

Weight: 391.7

Pah, I don't think you're entirely new. You've done well by lurking. Welcome.

Anyway, you could replace it with a ramplate or lawnmower blade, unless you don't have the weight. I could also recommend using maces instead of razors.
I didn't have the weight for a ramplate I think, but i did try maces

nah razors are fine. What's the weight?
Sorry, i switched to maces before i could read your reply and forgot the weight, I think it was between 360 and 370.
Also, are you lurking? :P
I have been lurking a bit, yes, but not too long really. Mostly I read the beetlebros site.
Edit: weight of the one with maces is 397.7

I've angled the spinners upwards to try and help with gut ripping, but I didn't know what to replace the plow with. Any thoughts?

Have you heard about/installed any AI packs?
I have Starcore, v3 i think, but i haven't tried this bot out against them yet.
Edit:
Cool plow skin as well!
I don't remember where I got it but it isn't mine I'm afraid.

Newer version. I built this before Sage's post, so none of those things are done yet, but I will try and add these things.

And insides:

I removed the chassis wedge, used Pwnator's extender layout and swapped the normal Z-teks for hp ones. The chassis is not quite perfect but I thought i would show you anyway.
Welcome to the forums, btw :D
Thanks :)

I forgot to mention. That setup might require some axle loading (https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=7903.0), but here's what it should look like:

(Image removed from quote.)

[Edit] Turns out you don't need axle loading, but yeah it's still a neat trick.
Ok, thanks a lot for your help, I'm going out for a bit but I will do this when i get back. Thanks again for being so helpful and generally nice!

Alright, I've been trying to use extenders instead of the disk, like Pwnator said, and haven't been successful yet. Any chance you could describe more what you mean? Also, thanks for the other feedback, I will try these out as well.
